She actually was a wonderful actress. Like Natalie Wood, she was a very natural, unfussy actress and that fools alot of people into thinking there was nothing there. She’s absolutely brilliant in “Virginia Woolf.”
Personally, I will take that kind of movie acting any day over the mannered, self-conscious stuff dished out by Meryl Streep.
I love Wood. Dont agree about VW, but then, the work itself is awful. She wasnt good in those heavy roles. She was marvelous in Father of the Bride.
