I love Wood. Dont agree about VW, but then, the work itself is awful. She wasnt good in those heavy roles. She was marvelous in Father of the Bride.
Oh, no, she was a very good serious actress. If you’re around tonight and have TCM, watch Paul Newman’s mini-documentary on Taylor. No slouch in the acting department himself, he lauds her great acting skills.
What’s awful? The play? It’s an American classic. Both the play and the film.
