The father of a five-year-old boy slain in 1975 has vowed to murder the man who did it "as aggressively and painfully as he killed my son" if he is released from prison early. John Foreman told WPRO-AM radio that he blamed himself for accepting a plea deal that saw Michael Woodmansee convicted of the second-degree murder of his son Jason in South Kingstown, Rhode Island.

Idiot, never trumpet your plans for revenge.
Do the deed with silence and cold precision, or don’t do it at all.
John should use the SSS method of pest removal.
Released for good behavior?....What an f’ing farce! Another liberal whack left judge no doubt!
Exactly....Don’t tell the world.
FWIW, that murdered boy would now be a forty year old productive citizen with a proud and happy father.
The bereaved dad needs to pop this lowlife, videotape him as he dies slowly, then demand a jury trial. He might be convicted of manslaughter.
Or cruelty to animals.
As a Father myself, I understand his feelings completely.
I would not publicize what I would do to him, though.
The public statement also serves a secondary purpose of making other people feel comfortable with this kind of thing. I, for one, don't think that is such a bad thing.
Indeed. As they say, revenge is best served ice cold.
I think I could convict of the lesser-included charge of littering.
Other than that, no.
I will nominate him for Nobel Peace Prize.
I say we arm the father, release the perp, look the other way and see what happens. There is a large chance I will nothing.
He’s also doing it to keep the predator from killing again. People like this don’t change their ways. He has been biding his time, but once out, he will do it again and this time, he probably won’t keep a journal of his actions or, if he does, he will keep it well hidden.
Where were the prison population? They had a lot of years to do the deed. They are going to get a bad reputation for their inaction....
He might be convicted of manslaughter.
How about cruelty to animals.
I’m not sure you understand this man. He’s going to murder the scum who killed his boy and he doesn’t give a wit who knows it. You would have to be in his shoes to understand the pain and rage he is holding inside.
I have often said that if anyone murders my son he better spend the rest of his life looking behind. Once you loose everything you care about there is nothing left inside you except emptiness and hate. It eats at you like a cancer. I bet the only thing that will cure his feelings are to dispatch the SOB that killed his son. I know I would want to.
