Democrats and Media are not Sarah Palin’s Biggest Problem
self | jimjohn

Posted on 01/16/2011 7:10:26 AM PST by jimjohn

Okay, the dust has settled and even rank-and-file democrats know that Sarah Palin and others on the right had nothing to do with the massacre in Tucson on January 8, 2011. Yet we know the attacks on Palin won’t stop. We get that. Thank you media, for detailing for us how irrelevant she is by taking the only meaningful statement on the matter - a 7+ minute video and text message - and reducing it to a record breaking two-word sound bite. Priceless. But some of us also know there only one reason the media and the left can continue this fruitless line of attack – which exposes Palin biggest problem.

If she actually becomes the GOP nominee I’m not sure that GOP Establishment will acquit themselves much better than they did in Christine O’Donnell’s senate race.

The establishment was able to demand that Reagan include GHW Bush as VP to serve as RINO fifth columnist. That turned out to be a multi-generational disaster. If Palin wins the nomination, RINO's will probably demand one of their own as VP again.

Of course they will support after she's the nominee, but where were the Republicans during the past two years while she was being slandered and smeared? Where were the *brave* grand poohbahs or even the little guys last week while she was being *blood libeled*?

Even today, she's is still being chastised for her video! This after an unprecedented media and demonic-rat rampage accusing her of responsibility in the Tuscon massacre, even by the sheriff himself!

Republicans can’t fight the democrats unless they know why they are fighting. Many don’t. We are in the process of replacing as many of the RINOs as possible. It does no good for us to fight the Republicans and the democrats both. We must lead the Republicans along the correct path. They are stubborn. They like doing things the way they have always done them. They like to sit back and let the democrats set the agenda while they choose to go along or resist according to public reaction. They are confused when someone comes along that wants to upset the apple cart. Sarah Palin will not get their support even when we nominate her-— until she defeats Obama. Then they will kowtow to her in hopes of gathering some political crumbs. If she is to win in 2012, we will have to carry her across the finish line, the Republican establishment won’t.

Most of us here have come to the realization that just voting for people with an R after their name is not getting the job done. We have to make sure that those candidates know why they are there and what their job is. Then we can all support them.

I don’t want to reply to you .

Of course you don't. You can't defend Republicans 6 years of power and all they did was grow government.

You have a nice day.

Thanks for posting, Ireland. It is always nice to hear from across the Pond — there is clarity in distance. The lobbies certainly are threatened by Mrs. Palin’s truth-telling.

I support Palin because I see how the media unfairly attacks her. Palin is who the liberal mainstream media fears. It is just pure evil what the media did to slander Palin.

Yeaj Reps are not given credit for what they do do here.

I wwould even agree that nonsupport from Reps’ isn’t Governor Palin’s biggest problem.

But it is a large one that is easily fixed!

The liberals have a script that the media fits events into.
Palin doesn’t read from it and it would behoove the rest of the Reps to likewise refuse.

Hmm, the largest problem of Palin and all conservatives may very well be that many do follow the script.

VERY WELL SAID!
I couldn’t agree more with your analysis.
And, since 2008, whenever one of the ‘Republican’ organizations begs me for money I tell them I only contribute to SarahPAC or an individual candidate that I believe in. I don’t appreciate what the Republican party has done to us, and I don’t have confidence in thier management of contributions. Btw, it has nothing to do with Michael Steele as RNC chairman.

You’d think those who aren’t potential candidates, would all wise-up and stop to think that it’s past the time to sit quiet -— that it’s time to praise her and build her up, so that if she wins the nomination, she wins in a stronger position.

No. The press has made her a dividing point and NO Republicans have the cahones to speak up. Republicans will NOT fight back. They do NOT defend their own which is the whole point of this vanity. They didn't even defend average Americans known as the Tea Party.

Well said and exactly to the point. The following is a portion of a letter i wrote to the RNC about a week ago expressing my disgust at all of its failures (believe it or not they were stupid enough to send me another membership card this week): Unless and until the party cleans out the sniveling, two faced RINO cowards its leadership currently supports (and consists of); unless and until it presents a unified front supporting true conservatives instead of denigrating them every chance they get; unless and until it stands up for the Constitution and the principles it represents; unless and until it actually stands for fiscal responsibility; unless and until it fights to restore our freedoms; and unless and until it fights the corruption and theft of this country by the Democrats by naming names and exposing their fraud – DO NOT EVER, EVER, EVER SEND ME ANOTHER REQUEST FOR DONATION.

Do you not think the word “praise” is over the top here?

I save that for God, not a politician.

Those words will be detrimental to helping her win. So why do you use those words?

Rino Republicans hate us too. We are a threat to their power. And that’s what it’s all about. Power.

No. "Praise" is NOT just a worship word.

Define praise

1. expression of admiration: words that express approval or admiration, e.g. for somebody's achievements or for something's good qualities

And Reagan is my hero even though he made a mistake with Amnesty

Going off memory here, but I believe Reagan admitted it was a mistake. Amnesty was part of a deal he made with the Rat congress who were suppose to secure the boarder in exchange.

Of coarse nothing happened with the boarder security.

Sorry, politicians and “praise” don’t work.

Use the word “approval” and you get serious attention.

People “praise” God.

Serious “kudos” are nice too.

Obama has been given “praise”. Did he deserve it? What has he done that is “praise worthy”?
