The establishment was able to demand that Reagan include GHW Bush as VP to serve as RINO fifth columnist. That turned out to be a multi-generational disaster. If Palin wins the nomination, RINO's will probably demand one of their own as VP again.
Is that so? Then why did Reagan choose Bush 1 twice? He could’ve chosen someone else the second time, why didn’t he? Reagan seemed to be a big enough man to decide who he wanted to be the Vice-President for him. He wasn’t a child!
He not only chose him twice on his own free will, but endorsed him and encouraged him in his own presidential race after he left office. Why would he do that, if he was such a disaster? Then, from what I remember reading, he wrote to him (Bush 1)telling him: “Don’t let the turkeys (liberals, I guess)get to him.”!
