Last night at my second job, an illegal alien began chatting with me (due to my Spanish fluency, he felt more comfortable giving his views) and told me that this country was soon going to be "Latino". He said the Americans wanted to deport the illegals, but were not going to be able to do so because so many were born here and were therefore U.S. citizens.
He was bold and adamant that the country was going to belong to them and that the "...white man would fade away." I agreed with him to keep him going and sold him some extra stuff in the process. I did tell him I had tried to tell some Americans this was going to happen, but they did not pay any attention to me (many outside of Free Republic do NOT pay attention). He laughed and left. What chutzpah!
Do government officials know that millions of illegal aliens have this attitude? If they know, do they care? To populate is to govern.
We Scottish are gonna take over America. The very fact that no ones see us coming gives us the element of surprise!;-)

I’ve had a number of stolen cars.
The question is, when are we going to take up arms to defend it? How many more inhumane vulgarities are we going to put up with? I submit that too many of us have too much to lose to take up arms, and that is the cause of the delay.

Demography is destiny. It has been happening since 1970. Like boiling the frog slowly in cold water, the American people don't have a clue that their country is being stolen right under their noses. And it will be done thru the ballot box using our own democratic institutions. California is the canary in the coal mine.
The U.S. adds one international migrant (net) every 36 seconds. Immigrants account for one in 8 U.S. residents, the highest level in more than 80 years. In 1970 it was one in 21; in 1980 it was one in 16; and in 1990 it was one in 13. In a decade, it will be one in 7, the highest level in our history. And by 2050, one in 5 residents of the U.S. will be foreign-born.
Currently, 1.6 million legal and illegal immigrants settle in the country each year; 350,000 immigrants leave each year, resulting in net immigration of 1.25 million. Since 1970, the U.S. population has increased from 203 million to 310 million, i.e., over 100 million. In the next 40 years, the population will increase by 130 million. Three-quarters of the increase in our population since 1970 and the projected increase will be the result of immigration. The U.S., the world’s third most populous nation, has the highest annual rate of population growth of any developed country in the world, i.e., 0.977% (2010 estimate), principally due to immigration.
87 percent of the 1.2 million legal immigrants entering annually are minorities as defined by the U.S. Government and almost all of the illegal aliens are minorities. By 2023 half of the children 18 and under in the U.S. will be classified as minorities and by 2042, half of the residents of this country will be minorities. Generally, immigrants and minorities vote predominantly for the Democrat Party. Hence, Democrats view immigration as a never-ending source of voters that will make them the permanent majority party.
Since the 1965 Immigration Act, our pro-population growth immigration policies have fueled major demographic changes in a very short period of time. In 1970, non-Hispanic whites comprised 89 percent of the population; today they are 66 percent; and by 2042, they will be 50 percent. The Democrats, under the banner of multiculturalism and diversity, have forged a political coalition that depends on individuals coalescing around racial and ethnic identities rather than the issues. The continuing and increasing flow of minority immigrants, mostly poor and uneducated, provide a natural constituency for the Democrats, which see them as their principal source of political power.
By 2023, minorities will comprise half of all children and by 2039, half of the workforce will be minorities, up from 34% in 2008. In post-racial America with one in 8 being foreign born, these policies/programs encourage group identification and act as an impediment to assimilation. They also hinder reconciliation, replace old wrongs with new wrongs, undermine the achievements of minorities, and encourage groups to identify themselves as disadvantaged, even if they are not.
The Democrats created the artificial category of “Hispanics” in the 1970s as a way to create another class of victims, which they could imbue with special rights and privileges, including affirmative action and minority business set asides. The result is another minority group that votes Democrat. It doesn’t matter that, according to the Census Bureau, 51 percent of Hispanics self-identify themselves as white. The Census Bureau has even created the phony category of “non-Hispanic whites,” which are now 66 percent of the population and will be 50 percent in 2042. The reality is that “whites” will still be more than 70 percent of the population in 2042.

The non-Hispanic, single-race white population is projected to be only slightly larger in 2050 (203.3 million) than in 2008 (199.8 million). In fact, this group is projected to lose population in the 2030s and 2040s and comprise 46 percent of the total population in 2050, down from 66 percent in 2008. Meanwhile, the Hispanic population is projected to nearly triple, from 46.7 million to 132.8 million during the 2008-2050 period. Its share of the nation's total population is projected to double, from 15 percent to 30 percent. Thus, nearly one in three U.S. residents would be Hispanic.

Because of demographics, Houston will probably stay to the left politically, and I think there is a real danger that Texas will go blue by mid century.
Also, as you note, at the same time, other “victim” groups like gays, as well as global warmers, will support leftists.
And very few will dare to suggest that we limit legal immigration for the less educated/skilled, even though that leads to more leftist voters and government handouts. I don’t like it, but I would be lying if I said it’s not happening.
I saw a video outside a school where some illegal aliens were acting “tough” against some legal Americans.
One of them said that they were going to take over America because there was more of them. To prove his point he started counting the 30 of them vs. the 20 real Americans outside of the school.
That type of thinking will keep them from ever having their phony dream of Aztlan.
Things are changing very fast. Sen. Lindsey Graham, of all people, just announced that efforts to pass THE DREAM ACT THAT RAINS GOVT FREEBIES ON ILLEGALS -- "are going nowhere."
"How can you give citizenship to 2 million people without securing our borders first?" he asked.
Graham also announced he's switching from Folger's Decaf to Lipton's flow-thru tea bags.
