Speaker is out of the question as Dems are going to lose the House. Correct.
The scuttlebutt I've read, is that some House Dems are muttering that even if they somehow kept the House, many would not vote for her to remain Speaker.
Best she might hope for is Minority Leader, but that will be a tough slog.
I think Pelosi is about to experience a devastating vote of no confidence from the House Dems. Their grand two year experiment in accelerated Socialism has nearly killed the nation, and has brought the Dems to the brink of total meltdown as a party. Pelosi is more responsible for this, than any other politician. She's going to be made to pay for leading them off a cliff.

Bring back the Poll Tax I'm all for restricting the right to vote to only those citizens who have a real stake in the country, i.e., tax payers, military personnel, and property owners.
It's unconscionable that people whose entire existence is parasitical, are allowed to vote for politicians who guarantee them even greater access to the wealth of productive citizens.
Based on everything I know of the Framers, I'm sure they would agree with my reasoning.

...what is really mind boggling is that the likes of Warren Buffett and others who are worth billions because of free enterprise are walking hand-in-hand with the left. I see Warren Buffet as one of those types of people who has a peculiarly overdeveloped talent in one particular thing. Like some virtuoso musicians who are otherwise complete morons, Buffet excels at the one thing he really knows, but is as clueless as any moonbat when it comes to politics and culture.
Same goes for Bill Gates, and lots of other ultra wealthy people.

Voting should be restricted to those who can pass a simple basic knowledge test.
All too many voters don't have a clue about anything political, particularly with today's educational system. The Founding Fathers had a strong belief in education....
Check out DeToqueville's statements on the education he found in America as compared with his home country....

Procter and Gamble came out with a budget (low end) Tide. They quickly killed it because it was killing regular Tide.Americans brought this on themselves by watching TV that is controlled by Dems/Libs/elites/Islamics
OK. So companies cancel products because Americans watch TV.
I think you have your anti-TV goggles on too tight.

No. Tide/PG cancelled the budget product because it was killing the main product.
The economy is bad and will get worse.
Americans brought this on themselves by idiots trading liberty for a TV clicker.

Gates and Buffet have secured their wealth from the clutches of the IRS in sundry foundations and charities. They are joining the Kennedy's et. al. as part of the elite.

When Obamacare is gone, something has to take its place. Health care costs are spiraling out of control, and something needs to be done to stop that. A big chunk of the reason I believe is fraud. The latest ring of fraudsters scamming Medicare was huge - and proves that the fraud problem is more pernicious and widespread than anyone wants to believe. Health care costs are spiraling precisely because of government programs. Get rid of the governement programs and let the market determine what costs are accurate and I think you'll see them come back down.

No. It empowers the left and brainwashes idiots who watch. Do a little digging to see who the major investors and joint ventures are with the 6 TV networks - Saudi Arabia. It takes a little digging and a little brainpower. ALL of TV is pro-Islam and pro-911 Victory Mosque. TV - Brainwashing the idiots who watch TV.
Keep watching Oprah - hon.

I would say admitting to keeping a perfectly qualified person from a job for esoteric reasons is about as vicious as it gets. If somebody has prejudices like that and is as small minded as that, please they may do better to keep those things to his or herself. These are brutal times FRiend. If you want to control who gets the job, then you had better own the business. You have no right to judge what anyone else does with their property. You sound more like a socialist than a Freeper.

“I don't know. The manipulation required to herd the sheeples into that frame of mind will have to be masterful.”
That's what frightens me about the Clintons - they are master politicians. Remember, we here on FR are not the norm, the dullards can be swayed rather easily.

There has been a radical increase in government hiring, and nearly all government jobs require at least a BA.For the ones you'd like to have (supervisor, bureau chief, etc.) yes, but overall, no.
They don't require a BA for you issue driver's licenses from the DMV.
One of the key components of the earlier stimulus bills was funnelling money to the states so they didn't have to cut government employees (state and municipal), but that is changing - note the government worker unemployment trend is up, while the business one went down.
