Bring back the Poll Tax

I'm all for restricting the right to vote to only those citizens who have a real stake in the country, i.e., tax payers, military personnel, and property owners.

It's unconscionable that people whose entire existence is parasitical, are allowed to vote for politicians who guarantee them even greater access to the wealth of productive citizens.

Based on everything I know of the Framers, I'm sure they would agree with my reasoning.

Voting should be restricted to those who can pass a simple basic knowledge test.

All too many voters don't have a clue about anything political, particularly with today's educational system. The Founding Fathers had a strong belief in education....

Check out DeToqueville's statements on the education he found in America as compared with his home country....
