PHOENIX (AP) - Gov. Jan Brewer says it's just a "bump in the road" that a federal judge blocked key parts of Arizona's immigration enforcement law from taking effect Thursday.
Brewer says she's disappointed by the ruling.
But she notes that it doesn't block a provision barring local governments from restricting the enforcement of federal immigration laws.
Brewer says the fight isn't over and that the state will soon appeal Judge Susan Bolton's ruling to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and to the U.S. Supreme Court if necessary.
In Brewer's words, "this fight is far from over."

To some degree we’ve got to play the PR game - though that may not be as appealing as your suggestion. In seeking to enforce the rule of law, we need to work through the ‘system’ which may include heading to the SCOTUS. Then there’s the 11/2010 election to put a spear into the RATS.

I doubt he would. He probably would have called her a smart broad.
Susan Bolton is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. She joined the court in 2000 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton.
And the appeal of the onjunction is an intelocutory procedure, the appeal can only be on the issues of law addressed by Bolton, which seem to be substantially on the side of Arizona.She muffed it for political reasons.Bad news for her as a judge. Her career may not go on for much longer. My bet is she retires within the next three years.She did the job for her masters the way she was supposed to, like a sleeper agent of fascism.

Justice Kennedy is a wild card, but the longer Bolton drags it out, the more time BO and illegals have for mischief.
