U.S. President Barack Obama sought on Wednesday to lift sagging confidence in his economic stewardship by enlisting the help of predecessor Bill Clinton, as a leading business group issued a scathing critique of the administration's policies.
Clinton, who presided over the 1990s economic boom, was to join Obama at a White House meeting with business leaders at 2:35 p.m. Eastern time (1835 GMT) to encourage job creation and investment, including in clean energy.

Four months before the November congressional elections, Republicans have tried to paint Obama and his Democrats as anti-business.
Obama is increasingly turning to former President Clinton to help win over voters and the business community.
Clinton, seen by many in corporate America as sympathetic, has helped the White House by campaigning for Democratic candidates running in November's elections.

I could say something, but I won’t.
HELP ME BILL, THE TEA PARTYERS HAVE ME PINNED TO THE MAT !
To “whiny little bitch”, we can now add weak. Weak, whiny little bitch. Come and hep’ me Daddy Willy.
Nice few years of gridlock and compromise instead of reckless abandon off a cliff we have now.
I agree with the lack of obvious candidates among the Dems — a very weak bench. So maybe Hillary will win by default. It's difficult to imagine the American people being willing to give another Clinton a try at the Presidency after a 16 year hiatus.
Hillary must be licking her chops waiting for Obama to crash and burn.
Now we will have the race card in combination with the sexual deviant card.Pass the popcorn.
This man, while a sitting President committed felonies in an attempt to fix a court case in which he was the defendant and an American citizen was the plaintiff.
No one ever mentions this.
This fact should LEAD every news story concerning Bill Clinton.
makeup these days can do wonders. not to mention various surgical and other cosmetic options. she’ll look fine. no worse than she does now.
also, who knows what happens by 2016? Maybe something happens to Bill(70 in 2016) and she’s propelled by the sympathy vote.
I was just saying that at 69 Hillary won’t be too old to run.
She was really very unfortunate in 2008. Obama was the only dem candidate in the past 50 yrs who could have gotten that nomination ahead of her. Everything was perfect for him, the moment was his. There aren’t any more Obamas on the dem stage. No one will be able to come close to him.
She’ll do just as well among her female base as she did in 2008 if not better(if anything they’ll be more determined to make sure she wins)and there’s no one else who will get the 90% of the black vote that Obama got that enabled him to win.
Although, who knows? 2016 is 6 yrs away. In 2002 you could have offered me $100000000 to tell you who Barack Obama was and I’d have had no clue. And I like to think I know what’s going on.
I see the focus is on Clinton here...but my understanding is that Buffet called this meeting...not Bo or Clinton...??? So if so how then does that play into the equation if so?
Prep for year 2000, every company in the World needed legacy software updated to handle Y2K. 30 years of code had to be upgraded. Almost every PC made prior to 1995 was replaced. Gingrich clamped down on spending.
Bozo the Clown could have had a great economy after 1995.
Obama is desparate. He needs to be impeached and tried for treason.
Big reason for the economic boom during the 1990s was the resounding defeat of hillarycare and the push for welfare reform.
Not sure where you got your "citation". Let's try these:
Bulimia overview
Bulimia is an eating disorder. Someone with bulimia might binge on food and then vomit (also called purge) in a cycle of binging and purging. Binge eating refers to quickly eating large amounts of food over short periods of time. Purging involves forced vomiting, laxative use, excessive exercise, or fasting in an attempt to lose weight that might be gained from eating food or binging.
The strict medical definition used by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) requires 2 binge-eating episodes a week for at least 3 months to make the diagnosis, but it's likely that some people with symptoms of bulimia may not fit these exact criteria.
A person with bulimia often feels a loss of control over their eating as well as guilt over their behavior. They are usually aware that their behavior is abnormal. Bulimia is most common in adolescent and young adult women. People with bulimia are often of normal or near-normal weight, which makes them different from people with anorexia (another eating disorder in which the person does not eat).
What is anorexia nervosa?
Anorexia nervosa (say "an-uh-RECK-see-uh nur-VOH-suh") is a type of eating disorder. People who have anorexia have an intense fear of gaining weight. They severely limit the amount of food they eat and can become dangerously thin.
