U.S. President Barack Obama sought on Wednesday to lift sagging confidence in his economic stewardship by enlisting the help of predecessor Bill Clinton, as a leading business group issued a scathing critique of the administration's policies.
Clinton, who presided over the 1990s economic boom, was to join Obama at a White House meeting with business leaders at 2:35 p.m. Eastern time (1835 GMT) to encourage job creation and investment, including in clean energy.

Four months before the November congressional elections, Republicans have tried to paint Obama and his Democrats as anti-business.
Obama is increasingly turning to former President Clinton to help win over voters and the business community.
Clinton, seen by many in corporate America as sympathetic, has helped the White House by campaigning for Democratic candidates running in November's elections.

..Clinton would have made President Zer0 proud if it had not been for Newt and the "freshman" house in '95. Also, Clinton is such a camelion that he can adapt to the changing conditions.....so he swerved right.

That's the reason I have posted many a time that I believe both of the Clinton's are/were working for the same source as backed Obama, but that the Clinton's IMO targeted treasure for themselves, and made that their priority, and that was the reason they canned Hillary in favor of Obama. She/he Clinton's didn't wreck the USA as they were promoted by the source to do in the nineties. It was '98 I believe the Progressive Caucus was initiated in anticipation of a Gore win the following election cycle, and then Hell was raised when he lost. It was as though the Left was in total shock when he did lose. Gore capitulated, but his "source" pushed him to persue the unprecedented legal fiasco that followed. It appears this way to me anyway. I think the Clinton's, and Obama are of the same Political "U", and the one that is more controllable by the "source" turned out to be Obama. The whole thing is a sting operation IMO. There are many a radical, a Hippie, a Criminal that need to be addressed by our DOJ once it's under control of Constitutionalists again.

For a winning candidate, all I remember he supported is Blanche Lincoln. She beat out the Union sponsored one. Pretty bad when the Union loses to billyboy.

Yeah, we had the closest thing to a generation of prosperity after Reagan, that was still going on after four years of Bush and on into Clinton. In fact, this pissant, whinney, looser generation has never known any sort of adversity, so it’s about time they learnt.
Most of Clinton’s economic success was due to the dot com boom, something that he and congress has ZERO to do with.
