(Reuters) - The government has launched a criminal probe into BP Plc's (BP.L) massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Attorney General Eric Holder said on Tuesday.
Federal agencies, including the FBI, are participating in the probe and "if we find evidence of illegal behavior, we will be forceful in our response," Holder told reporters after meeting with state and federal prosecutors in New Orleans.

I was watching the cutting on the live thread when the radio played Obama’s comments about forcefully going after the perpetrators. Minutes later the 47,000 lb shears that were crushing the riser pipe were opened up and pulled back to the surface. Anyone else see a pattern?

I am sure a leader would have been working with, not against BP from day 1 of this disaster. There will be years to litigate. Grandstanding is the only language the petty dictators seem to have mastered. The agitator in chief has shown that that most any real job is above the pay grade of an illegitimate community organizer no matter what color he may be.

The Gulf isn’t where the “criminal probes” are needed!
BP is a private, non-government entity,
and is therefore, in the minds of fascists like 0bama and those he surrounds himself with,
“the enemy”.
The Obama administation has only two tools in their governing toolbox:
1. Spend more on government programs.
2. Take things to court.
Cooperation with private industry is not in the toolbox.
Using the courts to make a private industry into a government program is in the toolbox.
And send their employees to the Unemployement lines.
Don’t forget, Arizona!!! These scumbags are the ones who need to be put on trial.
