Ankara, Turkey, Apr 28, 2010 / 01:05 am (CNA/EWTN News).- A Chinese-Turkish exploration team reported on Sunday that they have discovered a wooden structure on the top of Mt. Ararat in Turkey which they believe to be the biblical Noah's Ark.

All these stories came after Noah’s time, so they confirm the authenticity of the Bible. Read the Book of Enoch, I pray your eyes will be opened.
Of course!
After BAB EL the 'cultures' would STILL have a memory of it...
Indeed!
A lot of the stone used in ancient Egypt was reused as the long forgotten folks that built things were not around to maintain their structure.
Then you'd have to live without food, grazing land and oxygen. It makes perfect sense to abandon the ark in situ.
No way they could have built the Pyramids 3 thousand years ago either. I
Ever gone on Google earth and looked at the area in Peru with the monkey and spider and runway looking lines, all that? There is so much more visible from Satellite that you think there used to be a Los Angeles in that desert. For anyone to say our ancestors couldn’t have built something is preposterous.
What video?
I don't need any independent "confirmation" of the authenticity of the Bible. I simply believe it to be the Word. Even the parts I have a hard time living up to or completely fubar altogether. If you wish to pray for me, then pray that I can finally do what I have to do to live up to the standards put forth in it.
Or it is a carefully crafted hoax where "evangelists" film makers sucker the believing world. Time will tell. I haven't seen any independent review of their "findings". Fossils are found IN sedimentary rock. If it is the ark, then it is the one piece of old wood than can be stated with absolute certainty to have NEVER been submerged and buried in forming sedimentary rock. Think about it.
To add to that, they found not only "fossilized wood", but whole rooms of intact beams complete with the hay still in them.
I predict that the "ark" will disappear again due to "massive snows", or "landslides", or "corrupt government conspiracies". No reputable known scientist will ever see the reported ark to verify their "findings".
The comment about “how many species” they would need always cracks me up, given that the skeptics think that every single species we have came from a single one-celled organism, which itself came from lifelessness.
I guess they couldn’t build those huge pyramids, or that sphinx thing either.
Best post of the day!
I’d be happy to pray for you! On the way!
Unless this is an attempt at out and out fraud, which I seriously doubt. Previously, the late Ron Wyatt sought to profit from his ‘materials’, Noah’s Ark was but one of his alleged discoveries. But, these people presented their video free of charge to the world! Also, take into consideration that some of these people are from China where the ‘church’ is under severe presecution. I think they’re legit!
Why don’t you burden yourself with the facts. Go to the article’s website and watch it. It’s pretty compelling material!
I saw that too. Thought it was really quite pompous of them to make such a statement. The ‘science’ behind the statement was very weak. Of course, science is very weak these days anyway.
Men had no ‘means’ to build the pyramids either, but they’re there. I imagine God has quite the sense of humor...watching men blatently deny Him as the heavens declare His glory. They truly are without excuse.
Why?
Ark or not.. It is impressive that it still has square corners after almost 5000 years.
Most be of the faith are genuine
Sorry, most people of faith are guniune!
