Welcome to the GLENN BECK television thread...Stand. Never give up. Never give in. We are another day closer to the 2010 elections. All Beckerheads, infidels, sick twisted freaks, ilks and lurkers are welcome and are encouraged to participate in the thread. Beck: "Use truth as your anvil and non-violence as your hammer. And anything that does not stand the test when it is brought to the anvil of truth and hammered with non-violence, REJECT IT."
This Beck show was one of the very best!
If you wish.
Its rather reminiscent of “Remember the Alamo”.
A story of defeat and return for victory.
I agree with you on that. Palin is so villified by the left and right.
One of my liberal friends said how can anyone listen to a beauty queen? I asked him why are you liberals SO FRIGHTENED by her? His reply was another belittling response.
Leftists heed me, BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID!
I love it when he does history.

Same here.
Wow, that was a shocker to read.
Another GREAT show on TBN that you should check out is “Drive-By History”. The premise is a guy in a jeep who dives to a historucal site and then tells you about that place and the people invloved and their faith in Christ. It is great for kids.
The American Revolution was not won by send bouquets of flowers to Parliament, but rather volleys of musket balls into British soldiers.
Wake up Glenn.
Retention can sometimes be a problem with me. Old age I guess. :)
My family tree is loaded with Revolutionary War figures...I thoroughly enjoy learning about this period of our history...looking forward to tomorrow's 'live show' featuring conservative college students.
Wallace didnt acknowledge the mistake.
Probably distracted. I know I would be.
I think Barton (Glenn’s guest) did these amazing videos on black history in America.
These are must watch videos.
American History in Black & White
Apparently someone has chopped them up into 12 parts.
Here is number one.
I often wonder how many Tennesseans know where those 9 counties in their state got their names.
You can discover some amazing things by looking into local history. I learned that my tiny town of Norvell was named after Michigan’s first senator (John Norvell). That led me to discovering that Norvell corresponded with Thomas Jefferson and sought advice one a number of things.
Text of an interesting letter here.

3RD generation American here. My grandparents on both sides came here to live the American dream. I carry on their tradition with pride.
‘Beck effect’ in play...can’t get into Barton’s site to check out books...try again later, I guess.
Glad to have all of you here...
After traveling up and down the east coast during his visit we had a chance to get together and chat. I asked him if he enjoyed checking out the US? He, in his America bashing tone said “ you Americans have no creativity, virtually every city and town I went through is named after a place in England”.
I shot back in an instant, “We weren't Americans then”
Thank you. In my eyes there is no greater privilage and pleasure than being an American.
Outstanding! LOLOL
Thanks for the link!!! Watched the first one. I will be watching all of them! Looks like the series should be required and shown to every student during Black History month every year from K-12!
Time to get to the honey do list.
Good night and God bless.
