Wow, that was a shocker to read.
Another GREAT show on TBN that you should check out is “Drive-By History”. The premise is a guy in a jeep who dives to a historucal site and then tells you about that place and the people invloved and their faith in Christ. It is great for kids.
The American Revolution was not won by send bouquets of flowers to Parliament, but rather volleys of musket balls into British soldiers.

My family tree is loaded with Revolutionary War figures...I thoroughly enjoy learning about this period of our history...looking forward to tomorrow's 'live show' featuring conservative college students.

I often wonder how many Tennesseans know where those 9 counties in their state got their names.
You can discover some amazing things by looking into local history. I learned that my tiny town of Norvell was named after Michigan’s first senator (John Norvell). That led me to discovering that Norvell corresponded with Thomas Jefferson and sought advice one a number of things.

After traveling up and down the east coast during his visit we had a chance to get together and chat. I asked him if he enjoyed checking out the US? He, in his America bashing tone said “ you Americans have no creativity, virtually every city and town I went through is named after a place in England”.
I shot back in an instant, “We weren't Americans then”
