In an effort to build its credibility and influence nationwide, the tea party movement on Thursday announced the formation of a "federation" of tea party groups.
Mark Shroder, a member of the Memphis Tea Party, told a crowd of roughly 200 conservative activists gathered outside the state capitol that 21 factions of the movement will form the National Federation Tea Party. Shroder said the federation will act as a "rapid response" to "misinformation" allegedly put forth by the "mainstream media."

Wouldn’t surprise me if the libs have infiltrated this movement and made this happen so as to split future election vote results among Republicans.
I agree. This is a REALLY stupid idea.
Dan Quail ( Mr potato head ) does not speak for me.
Exactly. Anybody heard about the Fair Tax lately?
The tea party needs to keep the Republican’s off balance. No third party candidates, but the idea needs to stay in place that a tea party member’s vote is not a sure thing.
I hate the idea that a Republican would take my vote for granted so he can swerve to the left assuming that I have no other options.
No, we also have the choice of electing good, conservative Republicans. Don’t group all Repubs into the same vat.
I agree... it’s We The People or nothing!
I don’t do federations. I will be attending a tea party protest on April 15th, but I don’t do federations.
The tea party in Pasadena is supporting the Republican candidate for the 43rd Assembly district in California. My fellow Republicans, get over yourselves.
The tea party is good for Conservatism, and this is mostly true because the Republican Party hasn’t been.
If the Republican party in California wasn’t going to support Conservatives, it should surprise no one that others would.
There is no other entity out there, that has been as instrumental in destroying the Republican Party, as the party leadership itself.
Yes I get the same e-mails.
also various e-mails from politicos.
Amazing in the difference in tone and substance.
Please be mindful of Rinos etc trying to use the NTPF for their own political gain. You can tell the ones that will turn on you the minute they get power.
And no apology tours. I hate that.
Exactly.
I’m sure they WANT the Tea Party movement. If they can dilute it they’ve been effective. Start them thinking about a third party and that’s that. Movement destroyed.
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful! :)
The is a computer genius. He set up the programs that Fedex used to track everything worldwide. I attended a seminar he gave and sometime after he introduced himself he lost me. (it was not that hard)
Yup ;-)
Amen!!! Excellent!!
He has the typical Rino know-it-all attitude. Going all the way back to 92 election.
