"If Mr. Stupak and a few members along with the Republicans decide to use this to take health care down, that loss of health care will be in their hands."
What loss?

But...but...but...I just read they had a vote check on the floor and they’ve got 222 commie piggies agreeing to vote yes. More BS from the state run “media”?

He’ll probably sell out to get a vote that ends up meaning nothing.

The problem that they have is that they can’t promise anything substantial without sending it back to the Senate.
Any promise Pelosi or Reid or Obama makes is just empty words. So the question is, does Stupak want something firm or does he want a fig leaf?

I would not want to “massage” any thing of the Speaker’s.

Hell probably sell out to get a vote that ends up meaning nothing.The "capitalists" here could only applaud him for holding out for the highest bidder.

Methinks, the Stupack bloc is about to fold. :-(

"If Mr. Stupak and a few members along with the Republicans decide to use this to take health care down, that loss of health care will be in their hands." And they will be cheered as heroes by 70 percent of the population.

I don’t understand unless Nancy is trying to lay the Bill failure on the Senate. We need more info on how this would work. If the Senate has to pass it, then we are in good shape cause it won’t happen and this would have Reid take the grenade in which the pin has already been pulled.

Hey Bart, the entire bill is socialist and unconstitutional.
What more is there to talk about?

“Rep. Diana Degette, D-Colorado, told reporters a vote on Stupak’s measure was a “non starter” and said “somewhere between 40 and 55” abortion rights Democrats would bolt from the bill.
“We are holding firm this time,” she insisted. “If Mr. Stupak and a few members along with the Republicans decide to use this to take health care down, that loss of health care will be in their hands.”
++++++++++++++++
I see nothing wrong with that! Woohoo, if that happens...

Nazi Pelosi wouldn’t be wasting her precious time working over Stupak if she had the votes locked up.
