Same with my mom. She went in for a test and they nicked her femoral artery.

She actually recovered from that but later during heart valve surgery she was one of a very small percent that reacted negatively to heparin. After three months in ICU she died on All Soul's Day.

It all depends on whether the Democrats think they can win the seat. The last thing that the Democrats want at this point is another Massachusetts. If the Democrats think that a Republican will win a special election, then Rendell is not going to call for one before the November election.

Political correctness and calls for "Decency" when the likes of a Ted Kennedy or John Murtha dies are just tools of the other side.
