If you can't call a spade a spade, you probably don't belong on a political forum. Political correctness and calls for "Decency" when the likes of a Ted Kennedy or John Murtha dies are just tools of the other side. Too many folks did not know about the dark sides of those two scum bags because too many decent folks were/are kind, gentle and decent. There is no place or need of decency when you are fighting for your life, family or country.
There is a time and a place. Piling onto Murtha the day he died just gives fodder for the left wing media. I prefer to save my ammunition for live targets (and there are plenty to choose from).
I wanted Murtha voted out of office. I didn't want him dead.
For his family and for some of the more sensitve posters here on FR, I didn’t say what I really thought. Would have burned up my keyboard. Murtha represented my district. I loathed him.
Don’t know me well enough to say what you said to me. I was never kind, OR gentle when it came to Murtha. Ever.
