Mark Levin endorses Hayworth over McCain
Mark Levin Fan ^ | January 26, 2010 | Tim Sumner

Posted on 01/26/2010 4:04:04 PM PST by Sergeant Tim

Leading off his show tonight, Mark Levin endorsed former Congressman J. D. Hayworth in the Republican primary race to unseat Senator John McCain of Arizona.

As Mark pointed out, McCain is already "bravely" attacking Hayworth using the government as the weapon.

The anti-Hayworth effort began in earnest Dec. 15, when Grant Woods, the former Arizona attorney general and onetime McCain chief of staff, filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission. Woods argued that Hayworth, who has used his KFYI drive-time program to blast away at McCain as a soft-on-immigration moderate, was essentially getting free airtime to wage a campaign as a de facto candidate.

I WAS really on the Palin boat.....Don’t you get it?.....That’s Obama supporter crap.....I question anything about Palin and now I will be accused of being a troll or other character assaults......I live in Florida and will support Rubio because Crist is no different than McCain....I think Palin’s actions speak much louder than words.....I would be 100% behind Sarah if she separated herself from the IN NAME ONLY republicans which is something I thought she would do....But apparently that is not happening.....You stick to your principles and separate yourself from politicians who do damage to your country......

Great post.

Many bash Palin and Republicans using liberal media lies. You are right that Sarah was forced out. She had to spend her own money to fight an endless barrage of frivolous lawsuits. Financially Palin could not afford to stay in office. The media lied and said she quit. So, parroting the liberal media's lies, many so-called conservatives and democrats say Palin quit and that she is a quitter

I don't care if she supports this candidate or not or that every little decision is perfect . I care that Sarah will stop the growth of government (stop socialism), get the government out of the economy, etc. In short I care that Sarah Palin will make the U.S. freer, stronger and more prosperous and of course I know she will. Many so called “conservatives” demand an unattainable perfection of any Republican. And even more ridiculous these same geniuses demand an unattainable perfection of the whole Republican party. So they bash Sarah Palin and the GOP unfairly using liberal mainstream media lies.

It is ironic that these “purists” are actually helping the democrats/Marixsm/Socialism by their nonsupport, bashing of the Republican politicians. These so called “conservatives” who hate Republicans aid the Democrats and the media in the goal of the Destruction of the Republican party , the only viable thing that can stop the Democrats/socialism from turning the U.S. into a socialist state. I'm sure the media and Democrats appreciate all their efforts for the cause of socialism. These "purists" have no knowledge of economics or anything and couldn't run a lemonade stand but they set themselves up as judges over great conservatives like Sarah Palin.

I agree Mccain is a Marxist/statist. His McCain-Fiengold and Amnesty for illegals proves that. But even McCain and the other RINOS didn't vote for the Democrats socialist government healthcare. But that is overlooked by "purists".Hey Purists back away from the Democrat party sign and your picture of Carl Marx.

But I support Sarah Palin. I don't care that every little thing she says or does is absolutely perfect or not. I know overall Palin has all of the conservative beliefs that I have .And she has the intelligence, ability, leadership qualities, communication abilities, and the charisma to be a great president. I don't care if she supports this candidate or not or that every little decision is perfect . I care that Sarah will stop the growth of government (stop socialism), get the government out of the economy, etc. In short I care that Sarah Palin will make the U.S. freer, stronger and more prosperous and of course I know she will.

I wonder what percentage of these so-called "conservatives" constantly bashing the GOP while not saying anything about the Democrats' ongoing destruction of the United STates, I wonder how many of them are democrat shills posing as "conservatives". Hey Purists back away from the Democrat party sign and your picture of Carl Marx.

No, I don’t need thicker skin. What is needed is a more civil level of discourse for those that are on the same side.

I supported Sarah’s decision to leave office in Alaska even among liberal associates when I had to.....I’ve even suffered socially because I defended against all the lies of how stupid ect. she is.....And the natural wave is now I hardly get together with people who have such a liberal way of thinking because it affects every aspect of how you live your life....Seeing that, I think conservatives like myself are tired of this reaching across the isle bunk......Using phrases like “purists” and “so called conservatives” is unfair......

P.S. I am self-employed just like Sarah’s family, and I think she would consider me another free market success story.....So the assumption that I couldn’t run a lemonade stand is not true.....

We disagree about Palin’s judgement, qualifications and chances at POTUS, fine, time will tell. If she were to get the GOP nomination of course I would support and vote for her. I hope that she doesn’t though because, as I said, I believe her incapable of getting the 70 million votes needed to win.

I’m not selling anything, graveyard. Not even a blog. And I haven’t spammed threads about any particular topic. So you can sell your insults somewhere else. I’m sure you’re well stocked in that area too. Or maybe you’re just in a bad mood.

Sometimes our hopes aren’t based in reality. If Governor Palin is going to get anywhere in order to try and change the path this country is on and get back to conservative principles, she’s going to have to deal with those “in name only” republicans.

Since none of us knew until last Friday that Hayworth was going to quit his show and rumors started flying that maybe he’d run....I’d be willing to bet that Governor Palin didn’t know until then either. And at this point we still don’t know if Hayworth is running or not.

So, there’s a race in Arizona between a Dem and a Republican. McCain is the Republican. Therefor, the only one at the time Palin could put her support behind would have been McCain....and when you consider the history there, it really shouldn’t upset anyone that she was going to support him. That’s just my 2 cents.

Re: your post 93
“If your speaking of the Presidential race I am guilty as charged.....But I had no interest in the race (outside of disgust for Obama) until Palin was announced.....I just wanted to do anything I could to keep Obama out.....Look folks I like Palin, but I don’t think she is the next president....I did at one time.....To coin YOUR phrase “you can live with that”.....Respectfully”

I missed seeing that post of yours. I also would have voted Republican even without Palin on the ticket. Never had a doubt I’d vote against Obama. And even if Obama hadn’t been the Dem candidate, I’d have voted Republican. Until, if ever, there’s another party (tea party’d be nice), it’s the only option. Third parties have never been a viable alternative in the past.

Like many Alaskans, I wasn’t sure whether I should cry or applaud the news of McCain choosing her for his running mate. Would have rather kept Governor Palin for ourselves. Selfish? Absolutely.

Now I don’t know if Governor Palin wants to run for president nor if she’s ready to be President. Not even sure I’d wish that on her. As we’re already seeing, she will be assaulted from the left AND the right. Some folks seem to live in la-la-land...wanting the PERFECT candidate who will never say or do anything that isn’t in lockstep with their personal views. And the minute that potentially “perfect” candidate comes along, they will bring out the knives and stab that candidate in the back the minute they perceive, assume, or are disappointed by something that person says or does.

Would you please provide me of any evidence you have that would back up your accusations?

Breaking it down like that is worth far more than 2 cents and I see your point....I know the history, and she made a statement when asked why she did not stump for Brown....She stated she had not been asked.....So obviously she was asked directly by McCain for her support....I’ve had to make tough calls like that before (not in politics of course) and politely declining is not an easy thing to do even when you know it is the right decision....It will be interesting to see how this decision affects her political standing with the tea party movement.....

Your from Alaska!!!....Bet you wish at times you could turn the clock back 2 years and that there was never such a thing as a John McCain....I don’t stab in the back....In fact I wish I could have a heart to heart with the ex governor and explain exactly how I feel and why.....And you know what, I bet she would listen too......God Bless Sarah Palin.....

Yes, at times I do wish I could turn that clock back a couple of years. I’d like to have a one on one chat with Governor Palin too. Who wouldn’t?

She’s having to make some tough decisions every day. Some may turn out to be right, some might be wrong. But what I do believe is right or wrong, her head and heart are in the right place.

Thank you! Maybe you can get your friend Hannity to stop putting McCain on all the time like CBS does.

I agree, I don’t doubt one bit that Governor Palin’s heart is in the right place at all times.....And that is so rare today, particularly in a politician......And after seeing her last night on Greta and Hannity as a commentator I felt inspired....She really knows what she is talking about.....And gets to the point quickly......It’s almost like in your family when someone does something that really drives you nuts (like her support of McCain) and yet there is never that total separation......She definitely stands above the crowd and it is DOWNRIGHT DIFFICULT not to give her your support.......She is genuine and understands liberty, free markets and limited government.....
