Following the Democrats' stunning defeat in the Senate special election in Massachusetts yesterday, House Democrats are scrambling to figure out another way to force a costly government takeover of health care on the American people. The top House Democratic leaders seem comfortable with attempting to pass the Senate health care takeover bill in the House. However, numerous House Democratic members are already on the record saying the Senate bill is a nonstarter. Will they flip-flop now and bow to their leaders, who are intent on defying the will of the American people? Here's a sampling of what some House Democratic rank-and-file members said about the Senate bill prior to last night's developments in Massachusetts:

You’re about the fifth person whose made that same kind of comment about some kind of violent takeover by marshall law or by massive vote fraud by BHO and his administration. I think that kind of event is extremely unlikely because it would be such a high-risk, all-in gamble that would almost certainly fail in the end. And when it failed it would also destroy the democrat party forever. They would literally have to start a new party with a name like the progressive party, after a failed attempt at a revolution and a takeover through marshall law.
My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over.

“Yup. And while youre correct that you wont get through to him, you might make sense to some lurkers. I try to stay away from politics on facebook. But when they start Ill jump in. More than once when Ive made some great points, the whole thread just disappears... poof!”
OMGosh! I went back to check fb and the whole thread disapeared!!!! LOL. He did send me a private note apologizing for saying I wasn’t campassionate and that he wouldn’t mind paying higher taxes to help people in need...I told him he was free to do so, but I don’t like being forced to be generous, and the government should never have a say over what I want to do with my hard earned money. Haven’t heard back from him yet.
KamikazicRATS

“When Pelosi says “One way or another” she may be thinking of something like this. “
Yabbut Pelosi is psychotic.
Flippin’ SWEET!
Excellent post CA. Thanks.
The one phrase I use when I post on the local paper’s comments is... ‘if this health care bill is so grand why doesn’t it include our congressman and his family’...
Well stated CA......GR thanks for the ping !!
I call anytime you go into a progressive website to combat their views as “missionary” work. It’s not easy, but effective!!!! We need to do it more and just as passionate.

BWAAAHAHA!!! I know these people like I know every square inch of my glorious naked body!
The house will get it first as they are up for sacrifice in 2010, its better for us if 0 remains tone deaf and clueless anyway.
I hear a lot of what ifs and what we’ll do to get Repubs to pick up seats in the election...big deal.
We need to now get these things stopped!
1. 51 votes in the Senate will be tried by Obama.
2. Executive order will be tried.
3. Repackaging will be tried with the health care bill
These three items will be tried or some combination.
It’s time to stop talking about Brown and focus before the left hook knocks us out.
Please, let’s start ideas on these...what’s our side saying to the MSM on these three items?
