Involving the AP makes it worse, IMHO.

Why wouldn’t the Herald have the test feed?

I’m gonna go with 11:11, just because I like that number.

Also convenient if you have any armistices to sign.

Ok- I’m off work til 6 when I have a 60 min conference call ugghhh...I asked them it we could postpone it til tomorrow...they said nope.

Thanks for the streaming link to Howie- listening now. So- have I missed anything dramatic? I see it’s snowing ...the Globe tried to fix the election and various anecdotes indicate Brown is getting a good turnout.

Where did you see that? Just wondering because a post at the DUmp asking for drivers was ridiculed because they waited until the last minute to organize.

It’s good that there are many boots on the ground knowing the way of Dem politics. But Coakley being Attorney General of Massachusetts makes one wonder if ANY reported fraud will be acted on!

Pants on the ground is a new song. I understand it is hillarious. I haven’t heard it yet.

Yes, you’re right, “ positively giddy” and he’s right there in Boston, so maybe we ought not worry either? I’ve been feeling confident all along -— from the time I first donated over a month ago -— but now that it’s election day... what happened? ACK! I am sure he’s going to WIN. He has prayer on his side and he’s a GOOD man.

The Massachusetts’s Secretary of State, the chief election official in the state, announced today he will not delay declaring a winner, as Democrats have hoped for. He will verify the results once a clear winner becomes evident. He does state though, if the race is close, he has ten days to count absentee ballots.

Good to hear.

Despite being a dem, Bill Galvin is (mostly) a straight shooter

No surprise there. Galvin is a spineless jellyfish. He must have inside info showing a Brown double digit win.Plus he’s up for re-election in Nov.

Yikes, he will cheat and “call the winner” of the election or maybe meaning he will “call the winner” using a phone.

That was my first thought too, LOL. Well he can't do the first thing, because they're supposed to determine the winner by "Counting all the votes" [ / Al Gore voice ]. And we all know, he can't do the second thing:

so I'm kinda at a loss myself.

I am glad to explain InTrade for you and others. The way that the “price” jumps around can be very confusing, especially when there is a large imbalance of “sell” and “buy” offers. In those (rather common) cases, the gap between them can get to be very large- since the person who offering to take the “unpopular” side will demand large compensation for the risk he’s taking. Thus, when a transaction takes place the reported ‘price’ takes a huge jump.

However, InTrade can be such a useful tool to estimate “sentiment” of those who are willing to “put their money where their mouth is” (presumably, the bulk of such people have some confidence that they have done sufficient study to justify that). Like the stock market, the values normally reflect perceived reality.

How sweet would that be if you they rid of Kerry?! -g-
All of you in MASS will not be kept down by weather. There was an old fallacy in Chgo that only the Dems came out to vote in bad weather. That wasn’t why! We knew it was futile to vote in Chicago

TY for the link
