Obama in a Bind Over Country of Birth

President Obama is in a fix over his country of birth.

The President started to dig the hole as Senate candidate and now he is president, the hole is getting deeper and uglier, mainly because of his evasive actions. Many Democrat supporters are either ignoring the problem or are vehemently attacking "birthers" who question the President's eligibility.

Republicans are not the only ones concerned about his eligibility. Libertarians, independents, constitutionalists and even democrats are wondering why Obama is fighting so hard to hide his origin.

Unfortunately, Obama dug the hole himself, and like a hole created when a water main leaks and then bursts, the hole is expanding day by day and as it does, the fallout is increasing.

The President and his legal teams have done everything in their power to prevent anyone from accessing his real birth certificate, if he has one, but there are other lines of investigation they cannot block.

During his campaign for the Senate, he and his team touted his Kenyan birth, possibly because it made him more appealing to the voters they needed. Unfortunately, admitting to his birth in Kenya makes him ineligible for the Presidency.

So the question now is, was he really born in Kenya and he told the truth in the Senate campaign, or was he really born in Hawaii, and the Kenya story was a lie, used to deceive Illinois voters.

Obama can't have it both ways. The answer to this question will be interesting!

Of course, he could say the campaign and the reporters all got it wrong, but it will be interesting to follow the trail on this investigation and discover the sources for the AP story that documents the apparent fact that Obama was Kenyan born.

If it wasn't the truth back then, why didn't he stop the campaign using that information and why didn't he make the AP issue a retraction?

Obama supporters who say it is nobody's business, need to take a step back, imagine the president is George Bush and ask themselves the same question they should ask now. "Is it OK for the President to hide his origin and what are his motives for doing it?"

I want there to be a simple, truthful answer to these questions, but I have a strange feeling the answer is not what any of his supporters wants to hear.

Really! It’s too bad all of our Presidents hadn’t hidden their entire histories. In fact all citizens should have every scrap of info of their lives scrubbed once a year. I’m a Rhodes Scholar this year. Next year I think I’ll be an astronaut that landed on the moon. ;^)

The most powerful man in the world, with hundreds of billions of dollars in slush fund money should be able to fix a birth certificate. How hard could it be?

It is my understanding that all the birth certificates of the year are numbered. It would be possible to fake one birth certificate, but hard to change all the numbers on all the birth certificates for every child born in Hawaii.

However the state of Hawaii has already confirmed that Barack Obama was born in Honolulu on August 4, 1961 at 7:24 P.M. and that his birth was registered with the state on August 8, 1961.
Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director of the Hawaii Department of Health issued the following statement on this issue on July 27th confirming President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, HI.

It is amazing! How ideas are like acid. They just gradually eat away a great big hole.

The idea that Obama is NOT even a citizen is now believed by more than 1 in 2 Republicans. The number would be higher if the poll had asked if they had a doubt (as I do). This **idea** came about almost solely through the ideas that were propagated through the Internet and sites like FreeRepublic.

So...NO! People talking among themselves here on Free Republic is not a waste of time.

You most certainly CAN have it both ways when talking about SEVEN different lawsuits and seven different legal decisions!
On the issue of Obama eligibility, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to grant a Writ of Certiorari (look it up if you don’t know what that means) in six of the cases and they sent one case (Berg v Obama et. al.) back to the US Court of Appeals because petitioner Berg had skipped that step and appealed directly to the Supremes. The US Court of Appeals then affirmed the dismissal of Berg’s suit.
In a typical year the US Supreme Court is asked to rule on between 8,000 and 10,000 cases and they typically “grant cert” in about 75 to 100 cases or 1 or 2 percent.
At the state appeals court level, the Indiana Court of Appeals ruled about a week ago that Barack Hussein Obama and John Sidney McCain are both Natural Born Citizens under Article 2/Section 1 of the US Constitution. Whether that decision will be appealed to the federal courts remains to be seen.

The Hawaii Department of Health has already confirmed that Fukino’s statement was written for her by the office of Mark Bennett, Attorney General Of Hawaii. The statement was obviously written to minimize any potential legal liability under federal and state confidentiality of vital records laws (HIPAA).

Mark Bennett, the Attorney General of Hawaii can subpoena Obama’s original birth records. Bennett and the Governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle who appointed Dr. Fukino are both Republicans.

I’m guessing that the reason Mark Bennett has not chosen to seek a subpoena is because he would need to indict Obama for a crime (Fraud or forgery in the publishing of his short form Certification of Live Birth) and then convene a Grand Jury to examine the original, long form document. Bennett is most likely unwilling to go out on that political limb.

If any Obama eligibility suit ever gets far enough to hear testimony in open court, Dr. Fukino can be subpoenaed to clarify her words under cross-examination.
Thus far, in more than 57 lawsuits, none has made it to any expert testimony.

Thank you for providing substantive evidence that casts even more doubt on Fukino's statement. It was already strange that she was less specific in her first statement and then felt compelled to issue a second one.

The shadow of doubt continues to loom large over 0ba-Mao's true identity and grows instead of diminishing.

Thanks to you again for confirming that no court, especially the SC, has actually explored the core issue of 0ba-Mao's true identity. All cases have been dismissed on lesser legal issues haven't they? ;-)

Yep, information on Obama has been scrubbed in a fanatical fashion. This is why it’s so important to get the entire article (if allowed) posted onto Free Republic or to save a copy to your hard drive, not just the link.

Even on way back machine we’ve found previously seeming innocent sites have been scrubbed.

Obamacrimes, FR, Canada Free Press, WND and other sites have tried to archive everything that can be found knowing the next day it may simply disappear.
