Well heck that settles it right there...lol. If Kerry said then it must be totally bogus. That rumor is as phony as a 7-pound British note. Just try to use one of those to get into Wembley Stadium. I respectfully suggest that you not use JF Kerry as a source of information at any time in the future...lol. He's definitely an unreliable source...just ask the Swift Boat Vets. No the 'settling' took place when lord McCain did not deny the word of JFKerrry. AND if you were really paying attention you would not bring up the 'Swift Boat Vets' as your balance as lord McCain whacked them for having the audacity to speak out against his good friend JFKerry.

Rangel calling something an ethics violation? Rangel claiming "shame" on Boehner?

I’m ready to make a citizen’s arrest against Rangel. Who’s with me?!
To: eyedigress
Whine to someone else. I could see that other Freepers had answered him ably with facts to counter his stupidity, so I kept it short and sweet.

Boehner just made a fool of Rangel. He asked if Rangel could guarantee that the Stupak amendment barring federal funds for abortion would be in the final bill. Rangel said he could not. Then he asked Rangel if he personally would guarantee he would vote to keep the Stupak admendment in the bill. Rangel said no. Boehner then said that “this is a sham” to get votes and that any promise on the Stupak amendment is meaningless. Rangel was left dumbfounded.

I'm also pointing out that it takes two to tango, and the Democrats won their elections fair and square. To the victor goes ths spoils.
You're losing me here. Just because they "won" doesn't mean they are allowed to exceed their bounded Constitutional authority. This goes for republicans too.

Rangel, bewildered in response to Boehner’s request for a commitment to Stupak’s abortion ammendment, complained:
“Have you ever got a guarantee [from any member of Congress]?”
Speaks volumes.

It had some dripping sarcasm laced with it. :^)

OK, you can have the last word on McCain and Kerry. This discussion is not important now. We need to get back to stopping the health care bill.

Have you ever got a guarantee [from any member of Congress]? I wish Boehner had slipped in, "Thank you for proving my point."

Sorry for the friendly fire, then.
I am a patient man, but I have no patience for these types who bought a first edition copy of “Zapp Brannigan’s Big Book of War” and are now experts on how wonderful the world would be if Saddam Hussein still ran Iraq. May they all become coprophages.

It's neo-conservative. But thanks for the heads-up. You're calling FR a neo-conservative site??? BWHAHAHAHA!
Could you define neo-conservatism for me in your own terms. I'm just curious how your mind works. Thanks.
