"Republican Dede Scozzafava today endorsed Democrat Bill Owens, her former opponent, in Tuesday's election to fill the North Country congressional seat formerly held by John McHugh.
Scozzafava suspended her campaign for the 23rd District seat Saturday, citing weak poll numbers and inadequate campaign funds.
In a statement released this afternoon, she called Owens ''an independent voice devoted to doing what is right for New York.''"

Hoffman and all the support from the grassroots forced the GOP to cave.
The RINO’s are scared and want to put on a brave face.
I expect to hear spin on Fox News and talk radio that a Hoffman win is a “Republican win.”
But I say a Hoffman win is a Conservative win.
It would prove that a third party is capable of taking down a liberal Republican and Democrat at the same time.

It’s as simple as this: Votes for Cap and Trade, Card Check or Freedom of Choice Act = instant excommunication. No $$, no endorsements, nothing. Let a Dim run unopposed rather than against some alleged GOPer who would vote for one of these three.

In a district where people will die (literally) without air conditioning and summer electricity bills run in the hundreds of dollars per month, she votes FOR Cap and Trade.

That flow with the wind problem is not new. Traitors in our Government is new. We have had a few from time to time. But this is a wholesale operation.
The Commies have to go. Exit stage Left.

I hope that’s true, but I worry because the dems promised him something for throwing the election. He’s got nothing to show so far. He keeps sticking his face in trying to sound like somebody’s ‘conservative’ leader, gets his facetime on Hannity, and it gags me. Been shying away from hannity for doing too much of that stuff.
Romney and mccain are like fixtures there.
Maybe just keeping him in office is good enough for mcslain.
Whatever. Time for him to go.
As for Crist, if Florida votes him in, especially after his shameful slobbering support of mccain, they are nuts, and I will personally saw FLA off my wooden map.

I vote in the affirmative. Too much is at stake.
These people are OBSTRUCTIONISTS.
They truly OBSTRUCT the difficult and courageous work necessary to TAKE BACK OUR NATION FROM A COMMUNIST.
To: Javeth
I have always felt that the true sign of our "INDEPENDENCE", objectivity, honesty and "CONSERVATISM" is if we can openly FREEP people in our own Party, such as Republicans, when THEY get out of line. There were little to no Freeps of "W" for his eight years in office, and there was PLENTY that he did against the Republic (open borders invasion for starters), that it struck me as odd what we could demonstrate against Clinton or Obama if they did those things, but then we were eerily silent if done by "W" or some other Republican. This is the essence of being "bought off".
I dont think for a moment that FR, the soul of FR, and Conservatives, should be "bought off."
