Our Walter Reed salute to the troops last night was very well attended. Upwards of 800 people were there over the three-plus hours of the demonstration.

Look at the trafcam. There’s a flag at the right of the vid that hasn’t moved. That crowd is stationary from the cam to the Capitol 3/4 of a mile in the distance. Any attempt to extimate this crowd will understate the numbers. Start with Times Square on New Years Eve and start working your way higher. This is America coming to its Capitol. It’s Inauguration Day 1829 when Americans came to help Jackson remove the monied interests. This is a special moment.
