My guess is that it wasn’t public opinion that caused Jones to quit. He got the 411 from above that it was time to stop the bleeding for Obama’s sake.

I actually called this one - told my husband this morning it would happen, but I didn't know when. There were just too many articles and too much information coming out about him.
The main problem in this adminstration is that they think they can do anything - dem congress, dem senate - they feel they are untouchable. They forget that many of the people who voted for them are idiots to begin with and can easily change their minds to be against them.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration." Van Jones must never, ever come back. Gibbs must resign for having even said that. And, Obama has to go if he even supports either one of them.
