The media have repeatedly stated how "angry," "hostile" and "ugly" town hall meetings across America are becoming. They are of course largely ascribing the nastiness to conservatives voicing their opposition to (among other things) President Barack Obama and Congress' proposed government takeover of the health care system.
The press has been particularly offended by the "extreme" use of references to Adolf Hitler specifically and Nazis generally. One image they have repeatedly used as an example of this alleged right-wing extremism is a poster of President Obama - on whose face a Hitler mustache has been Photo Shopped - bearing the caption "I've Changed."
But there's a problem with this media narrative.

I wish I had a dime for everytime I’ve had to correct folks that the NAZIS were left wing
Understand what NAZI mean and then think about what they stood for and then it is obvious even to the lefty dumbest sheep
I hope
nationalist socialists, now look at their platform
Ummm, if a reporter has a choice of writing about : a dem stealing, lying and killing OR a Republican jaywalking - the Republican jaywalking will be the story...
LaRouche makes the Left uncomfortable because his far-left economic policy makes it clear just how little difference there is between fascism and communism in practice when it comes to economics. He shares the common derivation from Marx and Engels, ending up with something resembling many elements from the 25-point National Socialist plan, but cloaked in egalitarian-sounding socialist rhetoric.
I mean, the academic Left in the humanities has spent two generations focused in part on distilling philosophical differences between especially Nazism and the various “benevolent socialisms”, concluding that the fundamental elements justifying the placement of fascism and communism on opposite ends of the political dichotomy are somehow militarism and nationalism (skillfully explaining away the militaristic and nationalist tendencies of communist governments as not truly representative of Marxist ideals, and/or manifestations of collective action ascribed in error by bourgeois/reactionary to nativism/nationalism, but more accurately seen as embodiments of local solidarity meant to protect the incubatory socialist state from the capitalist and other unsavory influences of domestic anti-revolutionaries).
Or we could nationalize some industries - and have them pull ads on liberal networks - that’s what they’re doing.
It isn't just a matter of "getting the story wrong" or even "promoting leftwing propaganda", it's PSYOPS. The US military, under orders from Clinton, started using it on us ten years ago during the NATO Bombing of Yugoslavia. It was so effective that it returned for another round.
The crap we have been using on other countries to "change their mindset" has been turned on us.
It appears that the black man seen holding this sign was in fact a member of the SEIU. The same man was seen later handing out Dingell flyers.

The news media should do its job, or go out of business.
Looks like you are one hundred percent correct:

These media outlets should be made to print retractions. They’re slandering private citizens.
Right! Who cares. Liberals shouted Bush was Hitler for eight years and people did not melt down over that. The media is making fools of themselves implying Obama is a race messiah and can’t be treated like white politicians.
More of their double standards that Americans laugh at.
The new healthcare boondoggle isn’t their fantasy true socialized medicine and that pisses the über-socialists off.
LOL - “See Say Payday.” That’s the first time I’ve seen that one!
JIM LEHRER: As you know a lot of the commentary over the weekend was that nothing’s going to happen getting from here to the final hurdle here unless you really start cracking some heads, and really say, “Hey, this is the Obama plan, this is what I want. So much for what this committee wants and what that committee wants. Here’s what I want. I’m going to push and go.” Are you ready to do that?
PRESIDENT OBAMA: You know, the interesting thing is we’ve actually been very clear on what we want. I’ve said that I want to make sure that if you have health care you’re going to keep it. I’ve said that we’ve got to reform the insurance industry so people aren’t being excluded for preexisting conditions, that it’s not as easy for insurance companies to dump people when they change jobs or if they lose their job. I’ve been very clear about the fact that it has to be paid for. I’ve been very clear about the fact that we should have a public plan.
So we’ve laid a whole bunch of markers out there. And this week, as members of Congress have worked their way through this process and examined what all the options are, what we’re going to be doing is bringing some of them into the White House and —
JIM LEHRER: To crack heads?
PRESIDENT OBAMA: Oh, I don’t know about cracking heads — facilitating —
JIM LEHRER: Facilitating! OK.
PRESIDENT OBAMA: Facilitating a discussion that solves these problems.
JIM LEHRER: All right, but there are several things out there. Taxing the wealthy to pay for this — are you in favor of that?
How dawr dat blak guy bee so waaaaaasssssiiiiisttt!!
Dont he nooos dat yu dont maks fun of blak peepels even if youz blak?!
By labeling all the irate citizenry as conservatives, they are driving ordinary, unbiased citizenry into the arms of conservatives. A lot of Democrat voters are furious with this too.
the obamanation is in an evil, satanic league of his own, IMO, and even the fascist/communist label sounds tame to me. He is evil-incarnate IMO and his influence must be extinguished.
Well we should all go to Google, and google up "Hitler Bush" and send them those pics with the question - Why didn't you protest this/these? Send them to your Congressman's email, and the media's too!!! Flood them with the pics we had to look at for eight years and no one said a word.
