MSNBC is having an on air meltdown over a man their camera crew videotaped openly carrying a handgun at an anti-Obama protest in Portsmouth, New Hampshire this morning near where Barack Obama will be holding a town hall meeting later today.
MSNBC showed footage of the man with the gun openly holstered to his right leg. He was holding a large sign with words about the tree of liberty.
The Portsmouth police chief informed MSNBC the man was legally armed.
The man was reportedly standing with a group of protesters on the property of a church.
More as this develops.
home
I agree to a point. The man probably should have left his weapon at home and just wore the holster. This is what I plan on doing at every Town Hall and future TEA Party from now on.
WT....??? Talk about spin! This is about the entire democrat parties socialized medicine, yet this idiot sees nothing but blasphemy against his messiah.
oops. Thanks
Its a matter of personal discretion.
Pussy
“Tree of Liberty”, eh? I wonder if it was the Jefferson quote about the “blood of tyrants”? That should freak out the lefties. LOL!
“Breathtaking to think how quickly our RKBA wouldve evaporated if it hadnt been enshrined in the Bill of Rights. I doubt it wouldve survived more than a few generations.”
Actually, Americans were quite testy about their freedoms until the 20th Century. It took “progressives” like TR, Wilson, and FDR to convince enough that an intrusive, scolding nanny was acceptable. It coincided with the women’s vote.
They shouldn’t fear this guy. They should fear the hundred of concealed weapons they don’t see, and how their clueless goons are provoking the carriers.
“The Portsmouth police chief informed MSNBC the man was legally armed.”
Kudos to the chief. One of my co-workers was talking about going up north and seeing a gun range. He said he got the “willies.” I laughed at him and told him that “you city folks make me crack up at your fear of guns.” I told him he should have felt safer than ever.
What a lousy position to put his secret service guys in. He could be legally carrying, but want to harm the POTUS. What do you think is going through their minds when they see this?
Bump.
“At this time sending the message conveyed by the firearm is not productive”
ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT....
The SEIU and AFL-CIO thugs should KNOW that they aren’t facing a cowed opposition, unlike the Union meetings they normally thug at.
Maybe now they can work on getting Anderson Cooper to mention "tea parties" without getting the princess-giggles.
very interesting...I understand that they disarmed the entire Columbus Police Dept. when Bam went out there to announce that he had “saved their jobs” with stimulus cash
Yes. I don't see the outrage here.
It's not like some left wing union thug beating up on an innocent American citizen or anything.
... When the f—k did people get concerned about how the protests were being “viewed” or portrayed?
This is people doing what they want to friggen do. Get over yourselves. I could give a sh— about how anything is portrayed by the socialist PR mechanism. These are REAL people doing REAL things because they are REALLY pissed off.
Really, Who gives a crap what some liberal POS watching the news thinks? You think it friggen matters? Screw trying to manage the liberal response, as long as the “conservatives” are radicalizing, that is all that matters right now.
Jesus... Its like the liberal republicans are trying to “manage the perception” of this now, and water everything down to an ineffective and meaningless toothless dog and pony show. Heh, god, the GOP is full of f’ing pu—ies.
Care to divine the guns message for us?
It IS pushing the envelope. I admire the guys cajones! I’m not so sure the Secret Service will agree. I hope to see this on Fox News or I will be very disappointed. We don’t have an open carry in Pa. We have concealed carry. I just wished more law abiding sisters and brothers carried.
