I just sent the following letter to the Whitehouse and President Obama as an email, and have also posted it on my site.
Please, for the sake of liberty, for the sake of our Republic, and for the love of God, flood them with similar letters, by the millions.
To the Whitehouse and President Barack Hussein Obama,Re: August 4, 2009 Whitehouse Statement stifling free speech and dissent
Your statement on the Whitehouse web site today, August 4th, 2009, is an affront to every American and to our God-given rights to free speeh.
To whit:
"There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov"You who wrote this statement, those who approved it, those who support it, and the President himself who is allowing it, as a citizen of these United States, I demand that this statement be retracted and that each of you that I just named remember the oath you took upon entering Government service."I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will wellThat oath stands in stark contrast to the statement on the Whitehgouse page. You cannot have it both ways. Either you will retract that statement and apologize to all Americans or you will reveal yourselves as oath breakers and breaking faith with the Constitution you swore to defend and bear true faith and allegiance to.I hereby inform you that I, Jeff Head, am ardently against the Democratic and Obama led Health Care reform. I have read the Democrtic House Plan and I find it a monstrosity that will seriously erode overall health care in this nation, and will deal a serious blow to free enterprise in the health care arena, and thereby hurt the free market. I categorically reject any government plan, including Cap & Trade that threatens the American economy and fundamental Republican principle as these bills do.
I am not afrai to stand up to them, it is my right by birth and heritage and citizenshipo in these United States.
I proudly announce my dissent, and identify myself as one who is speaking out against these plans to all I know and can reach, and one who intends to continue to speak out against them irrespective of your wholly Un-American pronouncements to the contrary, so help me God.
I ask all loyal, faithful, patriotic, and God fearing...yes, I said God fearing...Americans to stand against not only these bills, but against this new, dangerous tact by this administration and call on and demand that that Administration once again retract this statement and apologize for it.

Madam Speaker:
I want you to know that I just heard your remarks during your tour of a San Fransisco hospital; you say that you are being confronted with another “astro-turf,” “manufactured anger” resistance to government run health care.
Excuse me Madam Speaker, but this is 100% inaccurate. I am not paid by anyone, nor do I take my talking points from any organization. I have read through the bill, and I dislike it because of the amount of control the federal government will force on the individual. This is Congress playing God, and I don’t happen to like that.
I am a 100% freedom loving American, and I happen to care greatly about the destruction with which your party, my President, and the Congressional leadership is doing to my country and it’s founding principles. Life choices to my health care should be between me and my doctors, not some government bureaucrat who is “managing costs.” Needless to say, I subscribe to a “leave a place better than I found it” policy, and right now, nothing your Congress is doing is leaving my country better than I found it for my future generations.
If you want, you can do me a favor and forward my dissent to the Obamacare plan to flag@whitehouse.com. I’ll spare the President the trouble of trying to compile a list behind my back and do it in the open. I’ll afford him more information than he has afforded us, the American people, regarding his “plan” to “fix” health care.

Could not agree with you more. The middle class can no longer stand by and wait and see what happens. As we are working two or three jobs just to keep our heads above water, now, when we voice our opinion we can be put on a list.
I am a hard working mom of three. I have lived within my means and try my best to do what is right. Yet, now our government is changing things way to fast. Years upon years it took to get to the point where we are now with the health care crisis. Yet, within only a month, President Obama wants to solve the true mess we are in. How can we absorb all these costs? Yes, other countries have free health care. Yet, do they deal with the illegal immigrant crisis like our country does? How will illegal immigrants pay into the system? Why should hard working Americans absorb the costs for health care for these illegal immigrants.
I am not part of an angry mob. The Republicans have not been calling me up to speak my mind. I am an American and can think for myself. I do not need a government official to do that for me. Believe it or not, most Americans still do have common sense. We know what is right and what is wrong. We know when goverment officials are double talking us and promising us the world.
Perhaps that is what is upseting our government officials. Until recently, many middle class Americans were not getting involved in what was occuring in our country. We were too busy working so very hard to keep ourselves from losing what we have worked for. No longer can this occur. We must stand together and keep voicing our opinins.
This is America. The land of the home and the brave. We are not other countries and we do not want to become like other countries. We want freedom of choice, the chance to better ourselves and the lives of our children.
