There are now modified photos of the COLB that broke here yesterday. The changes are so slight, that no one is noticing them.

The changes are so subtle, you can barely tell which one you are looking at.

This modified one is showing jokes like: The Font of the Certificate=Schmutz (A Schmutz is a chump, as in you are a chump) #5733=The number of the Certificate, is code for : "Problem with Windows REGISTRY", a sly reference to your claim that Obama does not appear on the Hawaii Live Birth Registry. 47O44=Easiest of all. BOH's age=47 0=O (if you look close you can tell that that is a Schmutz Font "Oh" not "Zero") EF Lavender is ORGANIC DISH SOAP

The original one does not say EF Lavender, it says KF Lavender. The original one shows the number is: 47,644.

The only way that makes sense is if the forgery is going the OTHER WAY: that the forger is creating something extremely obscure, something that will be placed deeply buried on the internet—that can be accidentally discovered at the last minute just in time to impeach the real document. To do that our forger deliberately duplicates many of the features and details of the original target document. Since no one is interested in some nice guy in Australia and would have no need to impeach HIS BC, but that it would be very important to impeach the Obama document, then my logic says that the Australian BC must be the forgery, made with the intent of proving the original false.

That is exactly the conclusion that I have come to. Sleep well.

Yes....and I agree with you on the fold. Which somebody pointed out long ago in the thread. Also pretty damning. The type does not distort or bend with the fold

Some of the posters here suggested that the “K” is visible because of the artifacts generated by the image being such a poor quality...so I went back to look again and tried to keep an open mind that it was an “E” all along.

That suggestion, on top of Orly’s request for information to her site users regarding an “E” F Lavender prodded me to action.

So I went back to the poorer quality version and willed myself to see an E. And I did. Then I thought of the letter K and saw that too.

I looked at the other points which we were told were changed and again...if I allowed myself to consider the number or letter to be different, I saw what the change was supposed to be.

The conclusion I’ve drawn here is that while yes there is a possibility the form was edited, there’s an equal possibility that the lower quality version created so many artifacts in the image that some of the lettering was distorted and hard to read to the point that your mind would fill in the gap based on what you thought you were supposed to see.

Just my two pesos.

You’d have to read this entire thread. There’s more muddying the waters than nailing anything. ;) The E and K issue was resolved back in the middle of the thread when Andy from Chapel Hill posted a link to Pacer. It’s irrelevent anyways because we’re trying/succeeded in showing that the Australian B.C. is a forgery.

One or both of them have to be forgeries....as they both can’t be legitimate and I concede the possibility that they’re both fakes.

But I honestly have no idea which one’s good if either of them are.

It seems this kerfluffle is MY FAULT for posting a low resolution JPEG, never intended to be a forensic study, on FR to allow people a quick look at the Kenyan BC. Sheesh.

I don't get it at all. Can someone (e.g. Swordmaker) explain how the 47,644 turned into 47,044 simply by posting a low res image? Forget about E versus K, that could easily be a resolution thing. But early Sunday I was going with Salamander's image which clearly shows 47,044. There's no way a resolution change could make a 47,644 look like 47,044
