Just finished the morning errand...Mowed part of the yard, and cut up one of the “neighbor’s” watermelons....We are known for our melons grown in this area.(ship them out by the semi-load)..THe man I bought this one from helped to develop the seedless melons now grown in the US. He sells them from a small wagon at the end of his drive, for a dollar or two.....
It was wonderful!

From my untrained eye I suspect they are a race that mixed long, long ago and could be a combination of European, Asian, and Indian blood. The skintone is rather golden, hair is straight to wavy brown, and the facial features do not appear African. That is except for the ones living in Kwa-Zulu Natal and they have a head structure and features that are consistent with Zulus and likely have mixed to be technically categorized mulattoe.
Years ago there were some small pockets of groups in Namibia, Botswana, and Zim. I wonder if the Zimbabweans have run them all out or annilihated them since they never categorized them as part of their inner circle.
If there are linguistic studies on their native tongue, that seems to be the most accurate way that leads back to the origin of a race. I have always wondered where they came from and have never gotten a straight answer, only speculation.
The realities of "outsiders," whether that alienation was due to religion, race, or what have you, meant that there were clusters of isolates, who were multiracial, and usually outside the law. The border region of North Carolina and Virginia is an interesting, historical study in this regard. These people lived on the border, in remote areas, intentionally, so they could leave a problematic jurisdiction in short order. Another, somewhat related term, but one wrapped in much more controversy and freighted with further historical meaning, would be "Melungeon." Derived from the French, melange.
One thing that I’ve been curious about and unable to find the answers in how many countries in the world designate race on the BC. Also, which countries use the term “African” to equate with our “negroid” WOnder if we have any freepers who have worked at the state department?....or if it’s some where on their site.?

Humitity in Panma is always quite high. It is awful.
Since two days ago, we are getting the effects of hurricane Ana. Although it will pass over 1000 miles above us, it has been dropping a lot of rain in Panama as the clouds go over to meet the hurricane as far east to that storm as it is on its way out of the African coast.
We need these rains, and idiot Billie Gates wants to find a way to stop hurricanes. If there are no hurricanes, everything from at least Venezuela throughout Central America will become a desert.

The name ‘Barak’ is an Old Testament name that dates back at least to 1239 BC. In the OT, Barak is a lesser know character that is singled out for his faith in God.
“And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets” (Hebrews 11:32).
Barak was a general who lived in the north and won a great victory over a superior army. Barak’s story is found in Judges 4-5. He got into the book of Judges through his association with a judge— Deborah.
Fast forward 3,200 years, It is doubtful the Islamic grandfather had the OT in mind when he named his son Barak. It is no wonder Barry sought to modify the spelling of his ‘name’ to something other than Judeo-Christian.
Or maybe they are just casual about the spelling of Bear-ick, how many ways are there to spell Mohammed (14) or Hussein (11)?

My interest in words and word origian comes from two wonder teachers in high school, English and Latin.
On day one of my classmates swore in class and instead of punishing him, she made him look up the source of the swear word....From there it bacame a class project.
What reminded me of this. Is ther terminology you’ve given for words meaning other that black or white.
Not sure if one of the students or the teacher gave us this gem. The “n” word, as it’s been called, comes from “Niger” which means black. It was a term that the slaves gave to the unpure blacks...those who had either willingly or were forced to bear the young of the master or his chosen “stud”.
Since many of these were indeed related to the Master, they became the house slaves and received special treatment. They were greatly resented by the field workers, thus the word became an insult, hurtful.
I this is accurate I wish O REALLY would have his word-smith make it public knowledge so that it’s sting would be removed. No one should be hurt by words.

I have nothing against Panama (except that I don't speak Spanish) but I LOVE to cut my lawn. Cutting my lawn is a reward I give myself for getting my other work done. I have professional quality, Zero turn mower with 2 cup holders. I slap my sound deadening, headphones on and ride for 4 hours straight until it is all done.
I hate it when my husband interrupts me, and I'm looking forward to doing just that when I get home from work today. I'm feeling good because I got a check from a customer today and have been able to pay some serious bills (although that was just a drop in the bucket against what I owe.) I'm going home to cut 6 acres, and don't ask me to do anything else. I'd hire those "affordable" people to vacuum my huse and do my weeding, but don't take my lawn mowing away from me. :)
BTW, seedless melons are terrific. The flesh is what I call “tight” or “dense”. IOW, they don’t fall apart when you cut them because there is no seed channel. Most of the time they are sweeter too. And I think the yield per melon of usable slices is better, which is why I don’t mind paying a little more for them. I hope you get them soon in Panama.
I wonder if they have the same propagation properties as regular watermelons? I was always told that you cannot grow watermelons in the same ground year after year. Can any of the southern gardeners tell me if that is true?

I got onto a website yesterday that documented all of the connections of William Ayers' father. He was really "connected" (I knew part of that already) in Chicago. If he wasn't a Commie, himself, he was a fellow traveler. He was powerful and derived a lot of that power by placing commie union bosses on the various Boards that run Chicago and other high places. No wonder that he didn't get too upset about Little Billy's activities and was instrumental in finding cushy jobs for him and Bernardine when they came out of hiding. In fact he probably supported them for the 11 years they were in hiding and may even have introduced them to Obama.
This all really makes me sick to my stomach.

While I have tried to keep up with the post, I believe it is important to determine whether Barak Sr. changed the spelling of his first name to Barack after he came to Hawaii. The reason is that the COLB and newspaper announcement use the Barack spelling. If he was proud of his given name, I find it unlikely that he would have adopted the Barack spelling. This is borne out in this post. If he continued to use the Barak spelling, then why do we have his first name spelled Barack on both the COLB and the newspaper announcements? Answer: the documents forgers forgot this little detail. Do we have access to any of his college registrations or other documents during this time period?

It would seem that the anglican school he attended until the age of 17 has his name as BARACK. Therefor I imagine any ID documentation in relation to previous education that followed him to Hawaii would also be in the name of BARACK.
But I really do not know. One would need to obtain the record the teacher in the above article speaks of...but don’t forget, at the same school his brother’s name was written as JOSPEH. The muslim name his father gave him would have been YUSUF.
I’ve been under the impression that at least one former African colony of the United Kingdom and Colonies (UKC), Rhodesia, was in the habit of categorizing race by continent. That impression came from seeing yet another birth document online (possibly suspicious, I realize), that categorized a child born of two US citizens in Rhodesia as “European,” rather than white or caucasian, as we would expect in this country.
So, it’s reasonable to wonder, if the unusual “African” on the controversial “short form” shown widely on various websites could have an ultimately British colonial origin, in the various source documents driving the database that creates this form in Hawaii. There are at least two former British colonial holdings in Obama’s past, Kenya and Hawaii. I suppose British Columbia and even Canada could be thrown in as well.
Words have specific meaning and significance in legal documents, that’s one lesson we should all come away with, from all this, whether it’s the Constitution itself, statutory law, statements of state or federal government representatives, or birth documentation. Words not said or written have no meaning, and words said or written have very carefully constructed meaning.

BO, Sr. did have a half-brother Yusuf (son of his non-grandmother Sarah)-- so there's the .1% -- but he was born after Sr., not before. The Standard must have seen the genealogy, but since accuracy's not a valued tradition in Africa, and there are likely few existing records of anything in Kenya, what the heck, throw it in there. Older/younger -- doesn't matter, since it's all nonsense.
And there's an alternate, more plausible story out there (not written by Africans) that Hussein Onyonga Obama worked for USIS as a cook for the Hagberg family in Muthaiga near the US ambassador’s residence, not as a cook for missionaries.
And BO, Jr.didn't, to the best of published and known knowledge, visit Kenya in the early '80's -- it was the summer of 1988, before he entered Harvard Law.
For a lowly community organizer, though, that was one heck of a trip -- according to his book, he spent over a month, maybe two, or even more, that summer traveling, first in Europe, then in Kenya -- on the remainder of a mere pittance of a salary. He must have been very frugal with his meager income to afford that, although frugality doesn't seem to be his strong point now...or at any other time.
They always say that if you want to get to the bottom of what it is that confounds you “Just follow the money trail.” In Obama’s case it may be quite an eye opener!!
