The entire birther argument, that Obama was actually born in Kenya instead of the US, making him ineligible for holding the office of the President of the US, is a spurious argument. It plays into Obama and the liberals hands - they want this to continue since it makes regular conservatives and opponents into fringe wackos.
Not one of us would've looked harder at his legitimacy than Hilary Clinton and the entire Clinton smear machine during the Democratic primaries. That magic bullet would've given Hilary the presidency - and yet nada, bupkis.
There are many valid reasons to oppose Obama and the liberals, but his birthplace isn't one of them.

Your questions beg questions. Even if the papers got trivial facts wrong, what were they doing reporting on the story in the first place? The big fact of the story, that Obama was born, would not have been news to Honolulu if he had been born in Kenya.

And your BS story is backed by what evidence? Where’s the birth record? The hospital record? The plan ticket? Explain why on earth some overseas birth would get reported in Honolulu papers a mere 5 days later? Explain the COLB, the state of Hawaii official? huh?!?

The overriding factor is that the American people have the RIGHT to know who and what their president is — they’re paying his salary. Without them, he is nothing. He should have a sense of decency and clear this whole sordid mess once and for all.
Release Kindergarten records, please (what is the problem???????) and all passport info (we need to know if he was up to nefarious dealings in Pakistan)....COMMON SENSE--we should know WHO our President is and who is controlling him, although it is so obvious to many.

Oh puhleeze! Obama a master manipulator? LOL! That's the best laugh I've had in a long time. Too bad Obama can't manipulate his poll numbers to keep them from falling even more than they've already fallen since he took office. And come November 2012, Obama might just manipulate himself out of office and become just another one-term President on the trash heap of history.

Asking Obama to show his long form bc and other records is not nutty. What is nutty is comparing a request for these records, which McCain provided without a fight, to the complex and extremely unlikely and near impossible conspiracy theory of 911 truthers. There is no comparison because THERE IS NO BIRTHER CONSPIRACY THEORY, only the simple request for informaation that the public deserves.
Comparing the two is the ultimate straw man argument.

The story they’re running with is “look at the ‘birthers’, hear them roar”. The irony is that the movement gained followers as a result when people heard the complaints about the lack of an original birth certificate or even a publicly accessible certified copy.
And then there’s all the records Obama has kept from being released, and people are starting to distrust him.
The MSM thought they were doing a story on crazy, right wing nuts with racist tendencies. What they got was a story that seems to have infected a percentage of the people exposed to it with doubts about the President.
Obama can dispel this entire story by releasing his records. All of the ones in question. It isn’t difficult to do. Past Presidents have done it.

Like when? Walking down the street? You’re only required to show it under certain circumstances, and then according to the law. As it happens, by some odd lapse of judgement, there is no legal requirement to prove citizenship to get on a ballot.
There’s that higher law, namely the Constitution, and I wonder why that doesn’t get enforced. But for practical purposes, you and Obama are equal under election law. Neither you nor he need show your birth certificate to run for president.

Rahm Emanuel worked for the Clinton regime. He knows everything in the Clinton closets. Vince Foster, Ron Brown just to mention a couple, now Emanuel works for Obama or vice-versa. Who better to end Hillary's future in politics than Emanuel?

You know what? I don’t give a rats a$$ about images and perceptions. I do, however, care that the Office of President is occupied by those who meet the requirements of our Constitution. To date we have not received clear evidence, but only obfuscation from the Great One. You, the MSM, and every other obfuscator can KMA until the Great One holds forth in honesty on the matter.

On the one hand - it irritates me to no end that this fellow in the White House insults everyone by not producing a simple document that we've all had to produce at one time or another. He works for us. We have to follow the law - so should the President.
But on the other hand, this would be the absolutely worst way to get rid of Obama. The government is rife with marxists. He's merely a teleprompter reading stooge. Getting rid of Obama in this manner doesn't really solve the problem, and it will create the JFK-like 'legend' that Obama didn't accomplish all the great things he would havd accomplished because 'the man' drove him out on a technicality...
But on the other hand -- IF it can be shown that Obama is not legally eligible to be President - it ought to be the long awaited Death Knell for the mainstream media (enemedia). Sure, they are dying -- but too slowly for my taste. IF it can shown that Obama was never eligible in the first place the enemedia will have shown themselves to one and all that they are clearly nothing more than a propaganda tool. Useless in performing real investigations and reporting (because face it -- this question regarding Obama's eligibility is as basic as they come). Now that is what gets me interested in this BC issue. I care less about evicting the marxist usurper - and more about bringing down the enemedia. Its through their work that Washington DC has been packed with marxists. This fact is also the reason why they've closed ranks and are fighting the Birth Certificate issue with such fervor. If it turns out Obama was never eligible the enemedia is officially dead - and they won't be able to spin their way out of it...
Bingo - that's the *real* conspiracy going on. It is fairly obvious that there was a rope-a-dope going on - first dKos in June, with a lame photoshopped COLB. Only later did they lower the boom with factcheck and the state of Hawaii - 3 days before the election. I question the timing of it.
With Obama falling in the polls, the left MSM has latched onto birthers as an attack vehicle. The birthers are too dense to notice that Obama is using them to play the Race Card.
If you didn't get the memo from the state of Hawaii's statement, you never will.
