The Daily Kos has a post up quoting MSNBC personality David Shuster's Twitter page stating his show will be covering the controversy over Free Republic and comments about Malia Obama:
@mikelord @thejoshuablog. We will cover this monday: http://bit.ly/3pqS7M. But follow @joetrippi for what can be done on-line. about 2 hours ago from web
The embedded link goes to the Vancouver Sun hit piece posted earlier to FR
Over at Twitter, the leftists are all in a hypocritical lather over FR.
David Shuster is on sometime mid-afternoon East Coast time Monday-Friday.
The problem may actually be you. You take what others say and label it what YOU feel is racist or not. That is exactly what the MSM does also.
So quickly you forget these things when you put your narrow agenda first.
So, quit tossing the race card. It doesn't work here.
I never mentioned the "overwhelming majority of freepers". I used the term "some around here".
Hehe...You got my drift I see ...LMAO !
Ther are those of us old enough to remember John Kerry, Winter soldiers and Vets being spit on. It is offensive.
My husband calls it the great American chicken symbol.
We are talking about the child of a marxist wearing that symbol to a country where there was a G8 meeting. She also wore shorts and her cousin dressed very inappropriately. This wasn't summer camp.
Isn’t he the one who said that the politics of personal destruction should be used on Palin and here whole family? Isn’t he the one who first suggested that baby Trig was Bristol’s and then he tried to smear her with it?
Keep on Going ETL, symbols don’t lose meaning!!!!!
And when will these morons go after Daily Kos and their vile attacks and false rumors about Sarah Palin?
Good thing it’s MSNBC. No one will be watching.
This is how they’re planning to destroy the conservative voices on the Internet. They’ll send trolls on to say racist stuff about the Dear Leader and his family, then report on it as something typical and endorsed even if we zot their butts to kingdom come.
I hope David Schuster got something besides a show five people watch when he sold his soul.
It's true, and typical of how the left operates. The other people making these sorts of comments are dumber than sh*t and can be found on both sides. They don't really have a developed understanding of politics. To them, politics is like a sporting event.
Don’t forget Sally Quinn, the DC doyenne and lib hostess, married to WashPost former editor and her then married boss, Ben Bradlee, whom she landed.
**And so, Ben landed Sally, soon followed by his divorce from then-wife Toni. Although perhaps apocryphal, the story goes like this: she was looking for a job and walked into the Washington Post one day to apply for a party reporter position. He was smitten. She told him one salient detail; she had never written a story before.Nobodys perfect, he barked.**

Her latest article is so patronizing and insulting:
Palin’s Peculiar Family Values
http://newsweek.washingtonpost.com/onfaith/panelists/sally_quinn/2009/07/palins_peculiar_family_values.html
Her WashPost column is called “On Faith.” Funny .. she’s not religious, never has been mentioned in any way with faith in God.
And as if she’s the paragon of virtue and morality.

“As a Washington Post writer, she helped set the standard for tough profiles in the Posts Style section in the 1970s. She also married her boss, Ben Bradlee, then the Posts executive editor.
Quinn and Bradlee hosted boozy, elegant dinner parties at their Georgetown home; Quinn wrote novels and a book about being a hostess. She picked a fight with Hillary Rodham Clinton when the latter was First Lady and deemed the Clintons not fit for the Washington social scene.
But she never found religion.
Ive been an atheist all my life, she says. Jon convinced me not to use that word. He said I was defining myself negatively.
So I dont call myself anything, she says. A seeker, perhaps.
Quinn was casting about for her next move when she sought guidance from a higher authority.
I had been interested for a couple of years in religion and how it affects policy, she says. I was thinking of writing a book about religion in Washington.
Why not religion online? I described my idea to Don Graham, Quinn says. He thought it was a great idea.
She then told Graham: I dont know anything about religion.
****
She just put her finger in the wind, and decided it had cachet and currency .. it’s just a means to her self-invested ends and a way to keep her face and ego out there.

If any of you saw Sally’s disingenuous and condescending take on Sarah’s resignation with Laura Ingraham on BOR’s show, it’s easy to get big picture of the libs’ purposeful convergence of attacks on their enemies, she being one of their biggest. Of course, Cheney’s also on the front burner as well.
The Bradlee’s have a special needs son, who contributes for The Daily Beast.
He was born with Velo-Cardio-Facial syndrome, which is characterized by cleft palate, heart abnormalities, learning disabilities, and over 180 other clinical findings.
Among other reasons, she’s also focusing on this to presume to dictate to Palin what she should be doing due to Trig and her family situations, and inferring she’s a bad mother if she doesn’t.

From Newsbusters:
“Appearing on MSNBC Thursday afternoon, Washington Post writer and founder of the papers On Faith blog, Sally Quinn, exclaimed of Sarah Palin: “Well, clearly, she has not put her family first...And these children have, it seems publicly, to have been exploited by her in a, I think, really unfortunate way.
Even anchor David Shuster, who on Wednesday declared that Palin had “no future” politically, questioned Quinns accusation: “Sally, the use of the word exploited is pretty strong. Give us some specific examples that you think qualifies for that?” Quinn was happy to elaborate:
“Well, you know, she brings them all to the convention, including Trig, the baby. She brings the pregnant daughter with the boyfriend who clearly didn’t want to be there. She then travels around with the children, using them as sort of photo ops... she brings the children up when she needs them to shore up her own image.”
Quinn even seemed to blame Palin for defending her family against David Lettermans attacks: “It just seemed to me that the David Letterman situation where she whipped that up into a huge scene, bringing in her other daughter Willow and making a big a big to-do about it when she could have just let it go.”

The game is on .. and from all liberal sides. These people are truly evil and shameless.
Yes, you might be right. Monkey references, "Jeffersons" theme songs, "ghetto" and "hood" references, "Aunt Jemima" pictures, calling little girls "nappy haired hos"... the list goes on... these are all completely non-racial and any inference otherwise is all a figment of my wacky imagination.
I can not have a serious discussion with people who willingly choose to delude themselves.
Playing Internet White Knight is quite noble. I would support you if your sole purpose was to eliminate trash here.
However, a quick glance through your recent post history suggests all you do is defend the Obama family. It’s worth noting that the remainder if your first page of post history is spent bashing Sarah Palin.
Let’s recap: the Obamas deserve every possible benefit of the doubt, while Sarah Palin deserves none.
It appears that you’re a fraud.
What are you talking about?
They think it’s “cool” to wear socialist stuff...but tell them if they really wanted to live the life of a socialist....they need to put down the iPod, the cell phone, stop wanting/driving that car, turn off the computer and XBox, the AC, the water heater, bring in 10 more people to share your room, and go work wherever the government tells you to.. in the fields or tractor factory all day..and expect daily rations of food.
What about all their attacks, racist to the extreme, they did on Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas? Even Colon Powell.
Not a problem, philman. I meant to say they were alleging Trig was her daughter’s son and bungled it. This happens to me sometimes :)
that was him
At Yankee Stadium, the Palin daughter was dressed similar to the Obama daughter’s attire.
Did I say anything to set them off?
Even on the infamous "pulled thread", there were VERY few people objecting (no more than 2 or 3, IIRC) and literally dozens, maybe more, either actively agreeing and "LOL"ing along or, at the very least, not objecting at all?
