More questions about Barack Obama's birth certificate, still
LA Times ^ | 6/30/09 | Andrew Malcom

Posted on 06/30/2009 12:05:53 PM PDT by pissant

Well, here we go again on the Barack Obama birth certificate controversy that just won't die because it's one of those zombie issues like who really killed JFK.

No less an authority on politics, history and government archives than the Pat Boone is now raising serious questions about the legitimacy of the entire Obama administration and everything it has done since those 21 guns went off shortly after noon on Jan. 20.

This is because a lot of people, including firebrand conservative Alan Keyes (as The Ticket described here in February) and now Boone, insist or suggest or imply that Obama cannot be president of these United States because they insist, suggest or imply he wasn't really born in Hawaii but was actually born in Kenya, his father's homeland.

(See below for the certificate of live birth provided by the Obama staff a year ago, even though technically that's not a birth certificate.)

(Helpful Ticket Political Reminder: Obama thoroughly thumped Keyes, a last-minute hopeless fill-in GOP candidate, in his initial 2004 U.S. Senate run in Illinois. So there may be a lingering issue there in the mind of Keyes, wherever that is.)

“obama’s place of birth a historic landmark”
YES, I love it. And make a real big deal out of it. Get his media involved because it will be more obamadoration. All hail obama, put a statue up to his wonderfulness, name schools after him (oops, that’s been done), put his face on the 3 dollar bill and milk cartons. You know kids need to look at his face when eating their cheerios. Get his media on board so that they will be so giddy to worship at the shrine where their messiah was born. It would be like Elvis’ grave with flowers and teddy bears. And build a visitor center where you can register to vote and get a check up from a government doctor. I see lots of possibilities with this. Any takers?

Malcom seems to have a hard time with the document he reproduces, repeatedly calling it a “certificate of live birth,” while the document itself bears the title, “CERTIFICATION OF LIVE BIRTH.” Could this be because he's trying to mislead people into believing the “certification,” a secondary document prepared on the basis of the “certificate,” is actually the long form “certificate” that the Usurper is fighting tooth and nail to avoid disclosing?

Did you hear him mention that he was up till 5:00 working on something very important (not actual words but along this line)and hopes to be able to bring it to us ?

Hmm... missed his show today, but that sounds delicious. Don't like the disclaimer that he "hopes to be able to bring it to us", though.

He really oughtn't tease us, unless he's sure he can deliver the goods.

"...working on something very important."

Doggone it, Rush. Now you've got me on the edge of my seat!

The birth certificate controversy will last longer than the LA Times will.

And the Left Angeles Times none-the-less!

He (Rush) asked: “What do God and Barack Obama have in common?”

Answer: “God doesn’t have a birth certificate, either.”

Curiouser, and curiouser.

After telling this joke, he goes on to say that he's "working on something very important" ?

Man, oh man. All I can say, is that he's definitely got my attention. Sure hope it turns out to be something of real import.

Then again, this is Rush we're talking about. Rush wouldn't put out that sort of teaser, unless he feels he's got something truly major in the oven.

Ask the Left Angeles Times to explain this:

Excerpt from Dr. Polarik’s article (full article below):

“Why won’t you show us your real birth certificate?” Press Secretary Gibbs response was startling. He said that the Obama Administration had put a copy of it, one with a raised Seal, on the Internet. That response, more than any other mentioned to date, should have gotten people to their feet shouting, “NO, it’s NOT a real birth certificate!” Or, at least, it’s not the long-form original.

In effect, Obama, by way of his Press Secretary, just admitted to committing felony document fraud as what is posted on the Internet is a forgery, a false government identification document in violation of Federal statutes.”

The fact that he hasn’t shown it and instead has spent close to a million dollars to not have to show a $13.50 Birth Certificate is the only reason I think the birther movement has any credence.

If he actually released it I’d consider birthers in the same category as thruthers, aluminum foil sold separately.

Some say Frank Marshall is the real father, making BHOsr. a fall guy, and some people say the birth was in Mombasa, making the new State of Hawaii (1961) foolish to enter BHOjr. in their birth registry in an ambiguous way (making it appear he was born in Honolulu when an abstracted certification is generated even though the full details in the registry say otherwise). If both Frank Marshall and Mombasa are true, that’s a huge pile of embarrassment! Mom might have “confessed” to the registrar in Hawaii when she and BHOjr. got home from Mombasa that Marshall was the Dad, and just hoped BHOsr. would never have occasion to have a look.

I wonder if the State of Hawaii would let the grandmother in Kenya take posession a BHOjr. long form birth certificate from Hawaii. Would she qualify to do so under the current privacy laws? She could have one from Mombasa (where she’s said to have witnessed the birth) and another one from Hawaii for her famous grandson. Whether the details matched would be interesting of course.

Truth is stranger than fiction.

Just release the birth certificate and it will all be over.

All we are saying is
give release a chance.

Any 9 yr. old with access to a PC could have produced that bogus “Certification of Live Birth”

And you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to realize that anyone who would spend the hundreds of thousands of dollars that Hussein has spent fighting the numerous lawsuits in numerous states when a simple $12.50 Birth Certificate would suffice; has something to hide.

There is definitely something not “kosher” about this guy!

When I heard Rush say that he was working on something important, my first thought was I was hoping he was helping the seller with the auction and all the fine details in life which he will need for protection.

He had to be doing something along those lines or else why bring up the God BC joke first?

Many people in this country misunderstand the Constitution. It does not require the President to have been born in the US. It requires him to be a natural born citizen. This in not the same as being born in the US.

Obama is a natural born citizen no matter where he was born, by virtue of his mother being a citizen (the age problem was resolved when Congress made the law that changed the age limit retroactive.)

There are only two types of citizenship: natural born and naturalized. Obama wasn’t naturalized, therefore he is natural born.

Interesting! My thought was that he was born in the USA but it was something smaller that the arrogant one couldn't deal with.

The Obambi camp initially said that the birth certificate may be embarrassing to him. So, I assumed that the real birth certificate might have "Unknown" for father's name or "White" for Barry's race.

While neither are that big a deal, they each expose him as a fraud. Either one would scuttle the claim of "first black President" or his literay myth of "Dreams of My Father"...

Color me confused. If Obama’s mother was a citizen of the United States, what difference does it matter where in the world he was born? My sister-in-law was born in Germany and is a US citizen.
