Prayers for his soul, friends, family and children regardless of outcome. There was a time when listening and dancing to Michael Jackson music was a lot of fun for me. Good memories.
I agree with your sentiment, but it’s possible that a roped-off ER entrance is more functional for the next emergency than is a mobbed one.

I was a fan anyway, but I recall seeing him on TV once - he just stepped on the stage and I could almost see the electricity. I’ve never seen anything like it - and that was on TV. If nothing else, he was a dynamic performer.

Take it easy, there... They're not doing it for hero worship, or to give him different treatment. They're doing it for crowd control, so that actual sick people can still get in. That ER could turn into a crowded shrine in no time if they didn't try to nip it quick. It's a sensible thing to do.
FoxNews now reporting, per LA Times, that Jackson had died.
He didn’t beat it this time. I liked him and his music when he was still a black man.
Fox News is now reporting he is dead.
Thriller was a great album and the video of the title song is a classic IMHO.
