The sitting Speaker of the House of Representatives has accused the CIA of lying to Congress. She is ensnared in a web of conflicting accounts. Her very hold on power could be under a cloud. Meh. Guess we can find some room on A20. But pot pies need to be heated to 165 degrees to be safe? Hold the presses: put it on the front page!
Such is the news judgment of the New York Times. The Morning Joe crowd had a field day with Gray Lady and Pelosis travails during the shows opening half-hour today, Joe Scarborough having great fun pretending to assume that Pelosis pathetic presser would be on the Times front page one. Willie Geist eventually discovered the story on A20.

To Times, pot pies bigger story than Pelosi ping to Today show list.
Lying crapweasel politicians aren’t exactly front page news any more.
; )
I need to cook pot pies before I eat them? Wow. That’s the kind of cutting edge info that makes the times indispensable.
“Times Puts Pot Pies on Front Page, Pelosi On A20”
At the very least, they could have put her story on page 10.....to at least give the image of being unbiased.
Do you hear how bad she's lyin'?
She's not all that good a pro
When she speaks it's terrifyin'
She fibs when she says hello
Each charge she makes is quite a twister
Thank gawd she ain't got no twin sister
Time for resignation in disgrace
For Nancy with the smiling face

Ha ha, I thought hey where talking about pot pies!
Ha ha, I thought they where talking about pot pies!
well, maybe they did that so you could take a spit-take of your pot pie when you see how buried Pelosi’s story is
It is impossible not to enjoy seeing Pelosi squirm, she is such a phony, nasty, hateful person who lies all the time.
But it is also very serious and discomfiting to think that this horrible woman is 3rd in line for the presidency and extremely powerful.
I wonder what Hillary is thinking this morning. Pelosi did not support her candidacy, if I recall correctly. Heh!
This is just another in the long list of Democrat foibles that conservative forums obsess about (rightfully so) which the DBM media basically ignores and 95% of the nation either doesn’t know or doesn’t care.
Unless someone can grab hold of this like a pit bull and refuse to let it go, by next week it will be gone. We need someone to emulate the ferocity of Newt when he took on Fort Worthless Jim Wright, didn’t let go, and brought him down.
Since they’re going to start selling it for $6.00 a pop, it doesn’t even make a good bird cage liner anymore.
I have three parrots, and did try the Times, but they wouldn’t even poop on it ;-)
If the NYTimes won’t seriously cover the Nancy Pelosi story, it will never make it to my local paper. It’s no wonder that so many people I talk to are clueless and still like this administration.
Start asking people that you know casually, and they probably don’t even know who Nancy Pelosi is. A lot of people don’t follow the news, and that’s why they like Obama.
We want pie!
New York Times motto...”We Report...We also Decide”.
The front page of the Philadelphia Inquirer has a picture in the center of the astronauts space walking, which takes up most of the area above the fold. To the left, the article is that Chrysler “ends ties to 11 local dealers” and the right-side article is “obama to alter, restart tribunals”. Only the headline for the Pelosi accusation makes it above the fold; the 4 paragraph beginning of the article is below the fold, the width of the astronaut picture (and continued on page A10). I was taught in high school journalism classes that items intended to grab the audience’s attention go above the fold so the placement of the headline and article increases the likelihood it will be skipped over by most folks. Oh, and the headline? “Pelosi: CIA mislead me”
You left out the word”FREE” I’m sure the FBI and the NSA took note!
pot pies need to be heated to 165 degrees to be safeThey still won't be any good to eat -- not unlike, well, never mind...
