Hadrosaur Soft Tissues Another Blow to Long-Ages Myth
by Brian Thomas, M.S.*
Recently-discovered dinosaur soft tissues, and even blood cells, represent some of the biggest hurdles for long-age evolutionary belief. Soft tissue was found in the femur of a large Tyrannosaurus rex about a decade ago, and more was discovered in another T. rex a few years later. And recently, soft tissues with proteins were found in a hadrosaur from Montana...

I believe you even explained to me once that this was the objective of your arguments.
That would most likely be your projections haunting you again. That has to be torturous for you.
Creationism, despite your best attempts at obtuseness on the subject, is not and NEVER will be synonymous with Christian.
Creationism is not just the belief that God is responsible for the creation of the universe, it is a movement formed in opposition to the findings of a scientific theory.
I fully believe God is responsible for the creation of life, the universe and everything. But I do not dictate the terms and conditions and time frames under which God did such. I let scriptural language talking of evenings and mornings of days without a Sun speak to the WHY of creation, and I understand that science can show some of the HOW.
Stars form by nuclear fusion and gravity. Right now stars are forming in nebulae. God is no less responsible for creating these stars than for creating our own star, and I don’t suppose it is necessary to postulate that he used different means to do so.
Discovering how stars form no more removes God as their creator, than discovering how species arise removes God as their creator.
May you some day find the truth that you have hidden so well from yourself.
The fact that you would be so rude and nasty to someone so kind and thoughtful shows what kind of moral pigmy you really are, dreamer.
Funny, the higher my degrees, the more I believed in creation. There must be something wrong with your chart!
My post was neither rude nor nasty, although your post most certainly is.
And the typical ‘maybe your not REALLY a Christian after all’ tactic is neither kind nor thoughtful but tired and trite.
Or something wrong with your degree.... Communications was it?
You are not a very effective communicator.
“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways”—James 1:8
Too bad everybody on the Christian side of the divide can see it but you, dreamer.
“Sure. It's a refuge for undereducated, dimwitted, superstitious people like Karol Wojtyla and Joseph Ratzinger, for instance....” betty boop
Perhaps you are unaware of the fact that neither Pope John Paul II or Pope Benedict XVI were or are Creationists.
Perhaps you are unaware that my own position on science and Christianity is indistinguishable from theirs.
Here is Pope Benedict XVI (or Joseph Ratzinger if you prefer) on the subject....
They are presented as alternatives that exclude each other, the pope said. This clash is an absurdity because on one hand there is much scientific proof in favor of evolution, which appears as a reality that we must see and which enriches our understanding of life and being as such.
Pope Benedict XVI
Perhaps you are unaware that Pope John Paul II (or Karol Wojtyla if you prefer) is ALSO not a Creationist and accepted the findings of evolution.
“Today, more than a half century after this encyclical, new knowledge leads us to recognize in the theory of evolution more than a hypothesis. ... The convergence, neither sought nor induced, of results of work done independently one from the other, constitutes in itself a significant argument in favor of this theory.”
and
‘if the origin of the human body is sought in living matter which existed before it, the spiritual soul is directly created by God.’ Consequently, the theories of evolution which, as a result of the philosophies which inspire them, consider the spirit as emerging from forces of living matter or as a simple epiphenomenon of this matter, are incompatible with the truth about man. They are moreover incapable of laying the foundation for the dignity of the person.”
Pope John Paul II
Don’t get me wrong, I quite agree with you...the vast majority of those who get their education at our Godless universities come to disbelieve and mock God’s creation. Indeed, it is written!
Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Some of those who turn our youth away from God even claim to be Christians:
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
But of course, I could be mistaken about this, and may well be. Which is why I said I'd be interested in a better understanding of your fundamental cosmological view. That would probably clear up the matter for me.
Demineralization of bone fragments here seems such a basic and standard procedure that I wonder why such a big deal was made about it, rather like staining microscope specimens.
The more one knows, especially about science, the less likely one is to accept Creationism.
Perhaps you might want to weigh in on bettyboop incorrectly trying to ‘hide behind the Pope’ as you claim I do every time I point out that the Pope is a Christian and not a Creationist?
Tell that to dreamer, but as usual, he won’t admit his foolish, agenda-driven mistake.
Yes, and the more one accepts the wisdom of this world—especially as it relates to origins—the more likely they are to go to Hell.
And the minerals in bone are not the same as the minerals in a fossil.
The dinosaur bones were fossilized, they were not just bone that had been softened.
So why is it that we find actual bones of modern species, but only fossilized bones of dinosaurs? Why are there not human and horse skeletons found that are fossilized to an equal degree?
That’s why forensic scientists demineralize bones all the time to get at the soft-tissue contained therein. LOL
Seeings as how the Pope has “accepted the wisdom of this world” when he referred to evolution as a “fact” which enriches our understanding of life and being; do you think he is likely to go to Hell?
Why me and not him? Are there some extenuating circumstances in his case, some exception to the generalized rule you just proposed?
I guess you are buying in to the bettyboop notion (though she has backed away from it) that knowledge imperils the soul.
Knowing science has only strengthened my faith in God.
My knowledge of what is seen and understood makes me stand in awe at the majesty of what will always remain unseen and not understood.
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
