The underhanded Obama administration has quietly moved to rescind the “conscience clause” found in agreements between the federal government and Catholic hospitals.
This “conscience clause” has always protected practitioners from being forced to commit abortions in violation of their consciences. Its removal means Catholic hospitals will be forced to choose between federal funds for committing abortions and closing down to maintain a clear conscience.

Nevertheless, phony “Catholic” judas goats like Douglas Kmiec are still beating their chests with pride at having delivered 52% of the Catholic vote to the abortion team last fall.
In January Kmiec smugly wrote “The scurrilous remarks of conservative bloggers missed the point, which was that I and millions of others who voted for Obama did so not despite our Catholic faith but because of it.”
As a proud “conservative blogger” I have to ask this vile man how voting for a monster who could allow miracle abortion surviving infants to die unattended on a cold steel table in a broom closet is Catholic faith.
Reminding us why print media is dying, two weeks ago Time’s Amy Sullivan instructed us “confused Catholics”, that FOCA does not even exist. Insisting it will not be considered, she gently explains FOCA is merely a myth imagined by our Bishops which will not be voted on in Congress so it can’t threaten the sanctity of life.
Perhaps Sullivan could discern a comforting difference between being sent to a “work camp” rather than a “concentration camp” but her logic escapes me.
The truth may be Obama doesn’t sign anything named FOCA, but whether it’s called FOCA or the Sunshine and Applesauce law, he’ll sign a law extorting Catholic hospitals into committing abortions thereby killing Catholic hospitals.
Obama’s sneaky order proves both of these phonies wrong.

If his actual long form BC shows Malcolm X or Frank Marshall Davis as his father, then he is a natural born citizen. Didn’t President Bush just pass this executive order a couple of months ago? How does that qualify as always? How did these hospitals operate in the years before this EO was put into place? Why did President Bush wait until the end of his term to do this if it is so essential to the operation of Catholic hospitals?
I don’t care what he care’s about. I care about the witness the Catholic Church provides. We’ve fallen short a little lately and the bishops can’t afford to miss this one. AFAIC Obama can rot in hell.
Should Catholic hospitals stop accepting MEDICARE and MEDICAID patients? federal money
Should Catholic hospitals not be able to hire any staff who funded their education with a federally guaranteed loan?
Should Catholic hospitals and their staff not participate in any research that is funded by federal grants?
Should Catholic hospitals not do any business with any vendors (drug companies etc) who have federal contracts or who do business with the federal govt or use federal money to subsidize research or production?
Should Catholic hospitals give up all tax treatment as nonprofits and begin to pay federal taxes? oh wait- that is funding mammon so he can shut you down ...
Should Catholic hospitals just give up medical facilities and medical education at its institutions and stop accepting applicants who need federal loans t pay for their education?

If I’m not mistaken, most cities have hospitals that are not Catholic owned for the poor.
Cleveland has Metro General, Detroit has a few in the downtown area.
Obama does not have absolute power (yet). Where are the Catholic politicians who oppose this and if they don’t, why aren’t they being excommunicated
Perhaps it is time for the Pope to plan a trip to America and hold rallies in every state in opposition to this matter of forcing Catholic hospitals to perform abortions.
My wife and I are Baptist, but we would journey to any city in Louisiana to attend such a rally and be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with our fellow Christians to exhibit our support.
I believe that such rallies would shake the murderers to their senses. We definitely must be willing to use non-violent tactics to achieve our goals. It worked for the civil rights movement and it will work again. On the matter of abortion, I believe that we could attract a high level of bi-racial support.
“One if by land or two if by sea.” We must all become willing to become patriots to perserve our freedoms that were given to us by our military that began with blood stained snow in 1775. Enough is enough. I am mad as hell and I am not willing to take it anymore.

I thought Bill Clinton was bad, and he was, but I would take his malfeasance any day over this guy. Heck, I would rather have Jimmah Carter over this guy.
There are times when he's on tv, which is everyday now, that its seems to me, evil in his eyes. I've tried to rationalize it as just POLITICAL differences and loathing, but then there seems to be a nagging thing in me, and I wonder if he might be under some demonic spirit. I'm not saying demon possessed (or maybe I am), but demon influenced.
Good question. I can only surmise that the States, being the parties to the compact, would have standing.
Since the State reps in Congress decided to confirm the Obomination, it is up to the individual States to file suit.
The People, individually, can never have standing. We are the purpose of but not the parties to the Constitutional Compact.

I would like to see them opt for the “going to jaill” option. One can only imagine the sight of priests and nuns being handcuffed because they didn’t offer abortions. The far left would love the sight but most Americans would have second thoughts about it. I hope anyway...
