This may be a topic for our regional FReeper conventions coming up, but how many of you would be interested in forming an official conservative FReeper PAC for raising funds to help replace Dems and RINOs and to get conservatives elected?
TOPICS: Activism/Chapters; Announcements; Free Republic; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: elections; freepaction; freeperconvention; freeperpac

It might need to be a newly invented party, like the Average Joe Party, because the Republican Party has lost all credibility.

The fact is that they are not feared and are not having an effect.
Existing organizations such as Heritage and Cato are not small at all, but are no longer having the impact that is needed. Something new and more out of the grass roots is needed right now.
We will not be heeded until those that now marginalize us are afraid to do for fear that in their next election we will rund someone against them in both parties and that even if they survive it will be at great cost.
I’ve been there and know how it works.

Yes. I know them quite well and have worked with them.
And I scored 100% :-)
Thanks for posting the info.

I'm dubious about PACs. If I contribute to a PAC, I have no control over which candidates get the money. I'd rather see something like the Madison Project. They identify candidates, tell us what's good about them, then let us decide whether to send money or not. The money is sent via the Madison Project (they bundle the checks), so the candidate knows the donors support the Project's principles, but the Project doesn't decide who gets the money. We do.
I'd gladly support such a FREEPER check-bundling system.

What's funny--but never surprising--is how low public servants scored. Go figure.
Every once and a while, I have to go back and look at those stats when I find myself asking, "How could people be so dumb?"

You were already on the list; check your pings. Let me know if in fact you did not get it so I can investigate the problem.

Woo Hoo! I’ve already been calling my state’s Republican Party Headquarters to let them know that I will never, ever vote for a RINO again and that they had better start serving up conservatives.
