Obama Trolls On Free Republic (Vanity)
December 25 2008 | jveritas

They tell us that they did not vote for Obama BUT:

1. They want him to succeed.

2. He seems to be a Centrist.

3. We should not treat him like the Left has treated President Bush

Do we want him to succeed in implementing a socialist agenda and wealth redistribution? NO

Do we want him to succeed in giving the abortionists more power than they ever had? NO

Do we want him to succeed in implementing an appeasement and surrender foreign policy? NO

Do we want him to succeed in appointing the most left wing Supreme Court and federal judges? NO

Is he a Centrist? Only fools believe so. The man is the most left wing person to be elected President. His left wing principles are so deeply rooted in his character that it is an impossibility he is going to change. All his life from childhood till this very moment he has been exposed and has only believed and practiced left wing ideology. Only a fool believes that a 47 years old man who has lived all his life as a left wing liberal is going to suddenly change and becomes a Centrist. Only a fool will fall for some of Obama cabinet picks who do not appear to be left wing lunatics and conclude that Obama is a centrist because of that. Only a fool believes that the left wing socialist limousine liberals who put Obama in power are going to tolerate centrism in the government. They do not have to worry about this issue because Obama will never disappoint them.

We are not going to treat Obama the way the left wing liberals have treated President Bush. We are not going to hate him as a person and we are not going to wish him any personal ill as liberals have done to President Bush since 2000 and will continue to do so even after President Bush has left office. However we are going to work very hard to defeat Obama socialist domestic agenda and his defeatist foreign policy.

Therefore and based on the above, we should start the fight against Obama agenda right here on Free Republic and purge the carefully disguised Obama’s trolls. We already have a 24/7 utterly disgusting Obama propaganda by the liberal media and we do not need more of it on Free Republic. We are a conservative forum and for now at least we still have the freedom to ban people who want to spread Obama propaganda. This will be best and it will help us focus more on our message. I hope that the owner of Free Republic and the admin moderators agree and help us achieve this mission.

“The key thing is FOCUS. FOCUS on what matters, the dangerous economic policies that the President Elect plans to put forward and his naive foreign policy, not silly stuff like birth certificates”

So according to you those who care about the US Constitution need to be more serious about more important isues?

What issues are more important than did he follow the constitution in seeking office pray tell?

And..., that’s a good reason to pray about Obama and the judgement that this represents...

I think we’re in for big trouble, if this is indeed what Obama represents (and I think it is...). A very large majority did vote for Obama and that indicates that these are people who probably don’t realize that judgement is coming because of their vote.

Again, that’s all the more reason to have those kinds of prayer threads, because in this case (as in the case of judgment from God), prayer is the only thing that is going to help...

“Not sure it means he wasn’t born in Hawaii, it could just be an embarrassment, like father not listed or unknown or something far worse, who knows. I do know this. Even if it is all BS and everything is fine, WHY is he fighting it so hard? WHY? WHY? I have to assume that he:
1. Has something to hide”

Many believe that he is hiding that he was not born in Hawaii. However, even if he was born in Hawaii as he has stated, he also has stated that he was a British citizen at birth. That is due to his father being from Kenya and a British subject at the time of Obama’s birth. So, this makes him a citizen of the US, but not a “natrual born” citizen. I also wonder what he has fought so hard to keep sealed if he is telling the truth. It is past time for answers!

"The majority of Americans voted for Obama for whatever reasons they did.

Indeed, the folks who are responsible for counting the votes have assured us that is so.

I am willing to assert that a majority of Americans are really not that well informed concerning politics.

In fact most folks are rather well informed solely about whatever it is that they do day to day, and they are simply disinterested in what goes on in D.C. or their state capitals, or elsewhere that profoundly impacts them regularly.

Ignorance is bliss after all.

You said — “He didn’t say anything about being nice to His enemies.”

I think he did, in regards to the question of “Who is my neighbor” and who helped the injured Samaritan along the road (Samaritans were the enemies of Israel...)....

I think Jesus made the point very well...

Having said that, Jesus doesn’t mean that one goes along with evil policies that may be implemented or that one votes for these same things (as being “nice”).

If you take a look at the Sermon on the Mount (in which Jesus put forth a very much higher standard), you’ll see a lot of what people here don’t seem to want to do...

But, even so, God does deal out judgement, and Obama is a judgement upon this nation for its evil ways. The only way we can help ourselves in that judgement is by praying for our leaders and our nation and praying for repentance (for our multitude of sins). Then we’ll see better leaders come.

Absent that national repentance, we’ll see more and increasing judgement from God upon our nation...

“I swore an oath to the Constitution.”

So did I and millions of other vets. And my allegiance was and still is to the Constitution, not to any political party or any particular government. I do, however, expect those politicos who hold public office to adhere to the Constitution and to respect it, because if they don’t, they are in violation of the very sacred trust We The People have placed in them, and We The People can get rid of them. They are supposed to be our agents, and represent our interests, and when they fail in that office they forfeit the power we have given them to act on our behalf, and they can and should be removed. If they enrich themselves at our expense, and beggar those whom they are supposed to serve, then simply removing them from office is insufficient.

I would suggest that one of the first ways to fight Obama in what he will try to do with policies he wants to put into place would be to have state laws put on the books that mandate that a candidate for President of the United States must prove that he meets the requirements for President, according to the Constitution. And if that candidate fails to do that, then he cannot be on that state’s ballot for President of the United States and the electors for the state are prevented by law from casting their votes for that disqualified candidate.

That would be great to see several states with that law on the books by the time the next Presidential election rolls around...

I've been doing that for over fifteen years and it hasn't helped yet!

Actually, I think it has helped. So much so, that Obama Team has to "hire" cyber bots. MSM has gotten so much more careful, methinks. Sure, they were in the tank for Obama's election, but far more "news" purchasers have gotten so much more choosy about who they will read and whether or not they are willing to be lied to, and pay for the privilege of such lies.

“Jesus instructed that we should love and pray for our enemies.”

That’s why Jesus is God and people like me are mere mortals who do not have the goodness to love and pray for our enemies. Mortals like me believe in defeating our enemies and leaving their salvation to God.

They want him to succeed.

Ummmmm, the economy is cracking and falling around us and we're not suppose to want him to succeed? Wrong. I want him to succeed. I want the country to be strong. I want peace through victory. I want the economy to be humming by next Christmas. And if he can do it, great. I want him to succeed.

But....

I don't want him to get reelected. I don't want him to succeed at opening up the Mexican border. I don't want the ACLU to have his ear. I don't want the liberal agenda realized. Let's pick our fights, not punch the air at every sound.

Rich Warren is good. Glad he picked him. Picking Hillary might put a leash on Bill. That would be good. ...

Oh Right...lets show loyalty to CIC...

just like the U.S.Congress shows loyalty to the current CIC. BEFORE HE GET THIS VETERANS LOYALTY HE WILL HAVE TO PROVE HIMSELF. and so far he has not done so.

The Democrats, and MSM, and liberals in general have trashed President GWB for 8 years, it will be a long time before I'm ready to forgive and forget..

B Hussein Obama will have to earn respect, trust, and LOYALTY.

I wanted to thank you for your thoughtful post. You have eloquently put into words my own feelings.. from following the pre-election process, staying abreast of the candidates’ stand on the issues, belief that my country would ‘never’ elect this person to the highest office, then seeing that the ‘light at the end of the tunnel really was a train’. Dumbstruck at first, angry second, fearful next, and now.. now I'm at a loss as to what to do. Not only is it a train coming.. it seems the tunnel has no exit, and I have no recourse but to watch it approach, experience the agony over and over, until it hits.

I too, fear for my Country, for our future, and our children's future even more. I don't blame my fellow citizens (for the most part) for the oncoming train; it is powered by a very very small minority.. with alot of money, alot of power, and a lack of any moral conscience. The people that gave them power were manipulated in subtle, and not-so subtle ways.

They appealed to the poor, the hopeless. with promises of a lift up out of their circumstances; all the while knowing they would only give them paltry offerings of a ‘benevolent’ government, just enough to create dependence, and thus retain power. They appealed to the young’s innocent idealism; with slogans and promises of a world of peace and prosperity through thoughtful communication and tolerance... reminiscent of the ‘flower child’ mantra of the 60’s. They reached out to minorities, blacks, Hispanics, gays.. making them believe, through well-crafted speeches and campaign rhetoric, that bringing this man into power would suddenly validate them.. remove any and all discrimination, real or imagined.. that they struggled with.

Obama, and this small group, won by reaching inside to touch the most vulnerable part of the voters; and used that vulnerability in the cruelest, most inhumane way possible.. offering them false hope.

So here we are.. and yes, where do we go from here? When these people.. this ‘just a shy over one half’ of America realize they have been duped (as we are seeing already with the gay community), what is going to happen? Where will the sense of betrayal turn to.. the anger, the hopelessness? It's another possibility of a very very bad scenario playing out.

God bless us one and all...

You said — “The best way to handle Pray for Obama threads is for ALL FR veterans to avoid posting on them.

That way all the comments will be posted by a bunch of newbies who will be marking themselves for the trolls that they are.”

Christians know what the Bible says about praying for their leaders — whether they are good leaders or bad leaders. You saying that won’t override what the Bible tells Christians to do...

AND..., it’s obvious that you don’t have any understanding of what the Bible says about that (i.e., that kind of prayer) and about what the book of Romans says about the leaders that God *does institute* by His authorization.

In other words, Obama is in power now, by God’s will — which is most likely the will of God to bring *judgement* upon this nation for its multitude of sins...

>> People don’t care.
Actually, a slim majority may not care. The results would have been different if we didn’t have a weak candidate and balanced media.

>> My vote was trumped and negated by a damned ignorant idiot ... My vote was worthless.
Was it worthless to you? This is important.

The next election won’t be won on the blogs, it’ll have to happen door-to-door - which will be difficult for working people.

Good post - bump.

I will leave the decision to duly elected representatives, as to when to secede or declare open rebellion against the Federal Government.

Personally, I think at this point, there is no need for a Federal government, covering the entire continent. But that's just me. I think each State would do well, on it's own, or joined together.

But military action, or direct action against an individual, or group, should be made politically. As an individual, I'm not qualified to decide for everyone else.

And as long as we're following the rules of the Constitution enacted by the States, POTUS gets protected. Throwing shoes is 3rd world.

Do you want him to succeed in implementing his socialist agenda? in wealth redistribution? in appeasing our enemies? in appointing very liberal judges? in giving more rights for abortionists than ever before?

Did you read my original post?
