“Jesus instructed that we should love and pray for our enemies.”
That’s why Jesus is God and people like me are mere mortals who do not have the goodness to love and pray for our enemies. Mortals like me believe in defeating our enemies and leaving their salvation to God.
It's not hard to love Obama and pray for him. I want everything good for him in his life ... plenty of quality time with his children, far more than he would find in the White House ... enthusiastic guidance from those of us who are pro-freedom regarding the path he should follow while governing if he does manage to stay in office. I don't hate Obama. I despise his policies and would rather see us enter a 4 year depreession (8 years if necessary) than prosperous enough that Obama can accomplish anything on his socialist agenda, whether he turns out to be a national socialist or a soviet socialist.
