They tell us that they did not vote for Obama BUT:
1. They want him to succeed.
2. He seems to be a Centrist.
3. We should not treat him like the Left has treated President Bush
Do we want him to succeed in implementing a socialist agenda and wealth redistribution? NO
Do we want him to succeed in giving the abortionists more power than they ever had? NO
Do we want him to succeed in implementing an appeasement and surrender foreign policy? NO
Do we want him to succeed in appointing the most left wing Supreme Court and federal judges? NO
Is he a Centrist? Only fools believe so. The man is the most left wing person to be elected President. His left wing principles are so deeply rooted in his character that it is an impossibility he is going to change. All his life from childhood till this very moment he has been exposed and has only believed and practiced left wing ideology. Only a fool believes that a 47 years old man who has lived all his life as a left wing liberal is going to suddenly change and becomes a Centrist. Only a fool will fall for some of Obama cabinet picks who do not appear to be left wing lunatics and conclude that Obama is a centrist because of that. Only a fool believes that the left wing socialist limousine liberals who put Obama in power are going to tolerate centrism in the government. They do not have to worry about this issue because Obama will never disappoint them.
We are not going to treat Obama the way the left wing liberals have treated President Bush. We are not going to hate him as a person and we are not going to wish him any personal ill as liberals have done to President Bush since 2000 and will continue to do so even after President Bush has left office. However we are going to work very hard to defeat Obama socialist domestic agenda and his defeatist foreign policy.
Therefore and based on the above, we should start the fight against Obama agenda right here on Free Republic and purge the carefully disguised Obama’s trolls. We already have a 24/7 utterly disgusting Obama propaganda by the liberal media and we do not need more of it on Free Republic. We are a conservative forum and for now at least we still have the freedom to ban people who want to spread Obama propaganda. This will be best and it will help us focus more on our message. I hope that the owner of Free Republic and the admin moderators agree and help us achieve this mission.

For that to happen, he would have to abandon his socialism for fiscal and social conservatism, nominate strict Constitutionalist judges to the Supreme Court and promote tax and educational reforms that favor business and family.
But, how likely is any of that to happen? So, I simply hope we can survive the next couple of years, then elect a conservative majority in the House and Senate and a conservative President in 2012.

The court denied the stays but ALL three cases are scheduled for conference, one on Jan 6 and two on the 16th.

Do you wonder if there are "cyber" bots getting paid by our side? I imagine that's what the liberal forums suspect. What do you think they will achieve by "posting harsh things"? Bring some Conservatives into their fold? Do you think FReepers are that stupid?

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds it may get me purged.... But yes, I do think some are that ridiculous, naive, and/or frightened. I've seen a number of Freepers be so terrified by stuff said by other posters, that suddenly, said Freepers are championing Wolpie the Dog for President. Yep.
I like sound argumentation. FR used to be premiere in sound argumentation. Sometimes, I still catch glimpses of it in threads which require it most.

You really summed up my thoughts and feelings in the last few weeks. Whew. No I know why I am at times depressed, yet still have hope.
I believe we have to be a lot tougher...not illegal, not unethical..but defintiely stand up for ourselves, and if we have to, shout them down.
We have no control over the media.
If we work at the grassroot levels we may have a chance.
1) build a strong local and state base, most elections at the state level are won by less than 10,000 votes.
2) Start NOW to demand fair elections with appropriate voter ID and registration
3) support those conservatives who are new and hold our values.
So, is that right up there with America deserving 9-11? And because America is so "eevil".
The majority of Americans voted for Obama for whatever reasons they did.
Heck, there's a ton of so-called conservatives who "voted" for John McCain while saying they hated him.
You don't see anything "curious" in any of the above?

The best way to handle Pray for Obama threads is for ALL FR veterans to avoid posting on them.
That way all the comments will be posted by a bunch of newbies who will be marking themselves for the trolls that they are.
Don’t be tempted. Don’t post. Don’t participate.
Read the threads, to see who is there, but don’t post there yourself.
That’s my advice. That’s what I’m going to do.
