Obama Trolls On Free Republic (Vanity)
December 25 2008 | jveritas

Posted on 12/25/2008 1:29:51 PM PST by jveritas

They tell us that they did not vote for Obama BUT:

1. They want him to succeed.

2. He seems to be a Centrist.

3. We should not treat him like the Left has treated President Bush

Do we want him to succeed in implementing a socialist agenda and wealth redistribution? NO

Do we want him to succeed in giving the abortionists more power than they ever had? NO

Do we want him to succeed in implementing an appeasement and surrender foreign policy? NO

Do we want him to succeed in appointing the most left wing Supreme Court and federal judges? NO

Is he a Centrist? Only fools believe so. The man is the most left wing person to be elected President. His left wing principles are so deeply rooted in his character that it is an impossibility he is going to change. All his life from childhood till this very moment he has been exposed and has only believed and practiced left wing ideology. Only a fool believes that a 47 years old man who has lived all his life as a left wing liberal is going to suddenly change and becomes a Centrist. Only a fool will fall for some of Obama cabinet picks who do not appear to be left wing lunatics and conclude that Obama is a centrist because of that. Only a fool believes that the left wing socialist limousine liberals who put Obama in power are going to tolerate centrism in the government. They do not have to worry about this issue because Obama will never disappoint them.

We are not going to treat Obama the way the left wing liberals have treated President Bush. We are not going to hate him as a person and we are not going to wish him any personal ill as liberals have done to President Bush since 2000 and will continue to do so even after President Bush has left office. However we are going to work very hard to defeat Obama socialist domestic agenda and his defeatist foreign policy.

Therefore and based on the above, we should start the fight against Obama agenda right here on Free Republic and purge the carefully disguised Obama’s trolls. We already have a 24/7 utterly disgusting Obama propaganda by the liberal media and we do not need more of it on Free Republic. We are a conservative forum and for now at least we still have the freedom to ban people who want to spread Obama propaganda. This will be best and it will help us focus more on our message. I hope that the owner of Free Republic and the admin moderators agree and help us achieve this mission.

You said (in regards to “pray for Obama”) — “Please tell me you are kidding?”

Well..., if you are a Christian, you would understand that. We are told in the Bible to pray for our leaders, good or bad, so that it will go well with us. If one believes that we have an evil leader who doesn’t believe in God, then prayer is *all the more necessary* in that regard — in order to have God restrain his hand, so that he doesn’t cause more harm than good.

The only prayer that will do any good, in any case, is one from one of God’s own people (according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the salvation that He offers and that one has accepted...). Prayer from any other (one who is not a Christian) God simply won’t hear or listen to. The only prayer He will hear from that person is one for that person’s own personal salvation, first.

BUT, having said that, I’m fairly certain that having Obama as President is God’s judgement upon this nation for the evil ways of many of its people, so much so that it has perverted the entire nation. God judges peoples in nations like this for their gross sins (corporately speaking, even if it is not true individually). So, this nation gets what it deserves — in the way of Obama — as a judgement from God.

The best prayer in that instance would be a prayer of repentance for our evil ways in this nation. God help us in that regard...

If you do want Obama’s hand restrained by God — you had better hope that the prayers of these individuals stays God’s hand in handing out the judgement that the nation deserves and that God holds back the full judgement that Obama could deal this nation.

These prayer threads are *needed* in order to stay judgement from God’s hands. Take that away and see even more severe judgement from God as a result...

In America we do not have to swear allegiance to someone we elect. We do not have to wish anyone well whose immoral stands are patently offensive on their face.

We do not have to be loyal to those whose economic goals are proven failures in history.

We do not have to support false scientific theories that would enslave us if implemented as public policy.

Amen and thank you!

I just re-read what I wrote (that you quoted from me) and it made me quail. It occured to me that I don't WANT to have to learn those lessons...I would rather take the words and actions of our founders on their merits.

Check out this paragraph I just read 15 minutes ago on the recommendation of a Freeper in another thread...it fits exactly what we are talking about here:

"...What is conservatism and how do conservatives approach the kinds of issues postmodernists have been raising? The first thing to note is that unlike those other two isms of the modern age, liberalism and socialism, conservatism, on the whole, has been defined by its lack of a utopian vision. Keenly attuned to unintended consequences, and the persistence of human frailties, conservatives traditionally have preferred evolution to revolution, custom and habit to fads and fashions, pragmatic approaches and common sense to theoretical speculations and abstract generalisations. Because of the peculiarly change-oriented character of modernity and modernisation, conservatives often have felt the need to remind their fellow citizens of the value of the permanent, that the wheel doesn't have to be reinvented willy-nilly...."

The last part of the sentence bolded and underlined particularly as it relates to the Constitution. We don't need to re-invent it as people like Barack Obama, the Liberals and Radicals want to do. And it also reflects directly on the citizenship issue. the founders put that article, section and clause in there for a specific reason. I think we disregard that at our own peril of having to learn again EXACTLY why they put that in there.

That excellent piece was from The Austrialian...an entity I had never heard of before. (My thanks to naturalman1975 for posting this thread http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2154277/posts

I do not like what I know Obama and his allies wish to do to America. But, I do pray for President-Elect Obama in my heart -- that the sitting President of the United States will not have an attempt on his life (as was done to Presidents Reagan and our current President on 9-11). I pray even more for our troops, and for those in leadership positions fighting the good fight against the wars, and the domestic agenda of those who would do America and her citizens harm.

I have no idea if the "pray for obama" threads are by trolls, as I've no interest in these threads. What America needs right now is a steady hand on the helm. I'm praying for that hand to be steady.

You know what sometimes catches my eye on FR? The very same ones bashing President Bush also bash Obama, but pretend they wouldn't bash anyone sitting in the office of President of the United States.

I spit on their so-called allegiance to our country.

“We on FR want the nation to succeed during the Obama years, but we don’t want Obama’s politics to succeed.”

You can't have it both ways. Choose a side.

You must have not gotten the memo.

No case concerning COLB has been dismissed by USSC. Only the stays have been dismissed.

In FACT SCOTUS will sit in conference on Jan 6th and twice on Jan. 16th 2009 concerning the three cases presented so far.

Spittled like a true 'seminar caller'. When you use 'lie beral' tactics like that little idiocy of resorting to 'breakfast choices' absurdity, you don't cause folks to trust your judgment or your word.

OK OK OK

Dear GOD, Please accept this prayer for President Elect Obama. May he have a LONG and Healthy Life, in OBSCURITY and FAR AWAY from the Power of National Policy. AMEN

What a drama queen. When the truth comes to light, that spit will come right back at you.

Clinton lovers were the same way. "How dare you say anything bad about the man?! He is our President!" You go right ahead and watch the parade and pretend like Dubya is wearing regal robes. I see who he is following in that parade and they are up to their eyeballs in horsehockey.

piffle. Thank God so many here sit on their butts and post "harsh things" about Obama and because danged if they would actually get up and get involved in fighting the good fight. Oh boyo! So exciting to witness "cyber warriors".

Real money has gone into hiring "cyber" bots to support Obama. And the best FR "cyber warriors" can do is talk nasty about Obama? Oh wow.

Me neither. There is a great book called “The Road to Serfdom” by Frederick Hayek. It was written back in the late Thirties/early Fourties, and basically acknowledges that people keep having to learn the same lesson over and over again that Socialism simply does not and cannot work.
