This birth certificate issue has been going on for some time now and for those hoping for some kind of dramatic outcome you are in for another big disappointment.
First, there is always the chance that there is a valid birth certificate proving Obama to be a US citizen.
Second, enough time has passed such that the Obama cult has manufactured and installed a phony certificate that will re-route us back up to option 1 above, he will have a valid certificate. Who do you think works in these kinds of government offices? They're all democrats.
Third, no court is going to force Obama to prove himself to be a citizen, the burden is on those making the accusation that he is not a citizen. A criminal doesn't have to prove he didn't commit a crime, the state has to prove that he did.

Flame on, and sorry for the Vanity, but this is driving me nutz, this issue gets my hopes up but then common sense dashes my hope on the rocks, and this now is a daily occurrence. You are going to find a valid certificate at the end of this road if you are lucky enough to get a judge to demand it, and that is very unlikely, whether the certificate be real or phony it won't matter, and will never be able to proven either way.
If Jim does not purge some of the long time dim operatives... this place will become as useless as town hall.

I had thought of that scenario as well. However, the Senate Resolution 511 that declared McCain to be Natural Born as a “sense of the senate” is very telling. Obama introduced language that would EXPAND the definition which JUST SO HAPPENS to include his case. That means he knew about the trouble well before gramma was dying. He knew before he ran. In his mind, there would only be a problem if he won, and he would leverage the result as much as possible (including the threat of race riots) to shoehorn the Supreme Court into deciding for him.
In scenario in post #2, all Congress would need to do would be pass a law clarifying citizenship definitions, heck, they could even go back to the 1790 standard. No Constitutional amendment would be required.
***So that would mean this whole thing was NOT what zer0bama called it: garbage. All the more reason to push forward.

It is not just his birth place. Per Article II of the constitution you are a “natural born citizen” if both of your parents (father and mother) are natural born citizens or US citizens or naturalized citizens and you yourself are born in the US or US territories. Barack Obama senior (if that is the father) was not a US Citizen- he was in the US on student visa. Stanly Anne Dunham could have given birth to baby Obama or baby Barry right in the Oval office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and still Mr. Obama will not be eligible to be President per Article II, period.
Let’s hope that our Supreme Court will look at legality of this issue and not the practically of it and side with the constitution. And let’s hope that the law of the land, the US Constitution, that has survived several wars in our history, depression, terrorist attack, natural disasters, civil unrest, etc will survive the fraud by one man.

Well that is a consideration, no doubt. I don’t believe anything would spark more outrage by U.S. Citizens than a bald faced attempt to destroy our original constitution. If the left tried this, I think they would find out real quick who holds the power in this nation.
If he indeed has documentary evidence that his fills the requirements of the Constitution, fine and dandy with me -- I will not feel any negative for insisting that he demonstrate he complies. I take issue with your opinion here, however, in that if he DOES NOT fill the requirements, yet is allowed to hold the office, ignore a portion of the Constitution at his whim even when challenged, then it sets the precedent that ANY citizen may ignore ANY portion of the Constitution at HIS whim. No court, local, state, federal, Supreme, can allow this precedent to be set, IMHO.

Posts like this is where a lot of these problems are coming from. Everything I struck through above is not in the Constitution. The Constitution doesn't define what a 'natural born citizen' is, in Article 1 it authorizes congress to define citizenship and naturalization laws. See post 204, those are the current laws that define if one is a natural born citizen.
I have been writing for weeks that it is a shame this man was the first balckman elected tot he office because he is such a fraud. But Ted makes the case so much better than I have! And with facts I was aware of, such as the East African Muslim slaving connection to the Luo tribe.
No we have not hired him yet. We voted for electors, not the candidates. He IS NOT President Elect yet. The EC will not meet until 12/15/08. If you are going to troll, at least try to be a knowledgeable troll.
Don’t fall prey to the dissonance from obamanoids tryign to ridicule. Donofrio’s case is that the NJ election officials did not verify Obama’s eligibility before allowing him on the ballot. Period.
Congress cannot void the Constitution period. They cannot void it. They cannot amend it alone. They cannot ignore it. Talk about dumb.
Actually, it’s based on my understanding of the premise of the natural born definition as defined in Donofrio’s brief.
