The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

Has anyone heard how the Davis FoI suit went in HI today?
Which is, I think, exactly why the courts will not let any of this get anywhere at all. Mobs, riots and widespread breakdown. I don’t believe they’ll do a thing, except issue some ruling that makes it appear that there was no legitimate question to start with.
Two cases alread at the SCOTUS 08A407 and 08A391
17 cases from 12 states in the works.
Keyes seems to have the best “standing” so far.
>>>the parties were responsible to certify their candidates.
Should have replied... “Then who holds the party accountable?”
Alan Keyes is not a krank. He is a constitutional scholar.
There must be something to this or it wouldn’t have legs.
Great man.
>>>17 cases from 12 states in the works.
And of course not a PEEP out of the MSM.
He could end a lot of this speculation by just showing the BC. This is all too odd to hide so much from his past while fighting these cases.
More like he’s way, way over his head and now he’s starting to get a little taste of reality. Now that American lives, not just talk, lies in his hands with every choice he makes is a little weightier than he imagined... That the first security briefing was just a bit scarier than he thought and undoing anything Bush may just come at a very high price and that price will lie at his door step for all of history.
My reply was sarcastic to the point of that seems to be working just fine, when we don’t even know where the guy was born.
I don’t think so. But it never hurts to be prepared.
The judges can’t use the “you don’t have standing” dodge with Alan Keyes. They’ll have to come up with some other BS.
That is so true.I walk in to an applebees at night and they are like zombies watching the games.I get them all wound up on politics for a minute and quickly leave and go back to the shop. They hate me for that.Sheeple is so apprapo.
Yeah, that was my point about Keyes, I would think he would have credibility.
Having run against the O-man he probably knows a thing or two.
I think any public questioning will cause massive rioting in the cities. Maybe this is what is wanted so that there will be an excuse for an all out hostile revolution.
OH... and you would think that if this case were frivolous or ridiculous in any way, that the MSM would be ALL OVER IT just to make fools out of republicans.
This from the obama "trash the Constitution" supporters.
If true... I would think it would be an article of impeachment... but what do I know, I’m a simple caveman living in fly-over country.
Marx had it wrong. Entertainment is the opiate of the masses.
