The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

I haven’t heard of anyone that said he renounced his citizenship, however, you do bring up a good question. We do know that he traveled to Indonesia to visit his mother and then to Pakistan and India. It has been said that he must have traveled on an Indonesian or Kenyan passport and at least purported to be Muslim in order to enter Pakistan in 1981.
If he applied for an Indonesian or Kenyan passport as an adult so he could travel to Pakistan in 1981, does this mean that he revoked his natural born status? My question is that this would show divided loyalties, which is clearly what the founding fathers wanted to avoid.
I am not a lawyer, so perhaps someone with constitutional law experience could address this.
IMHO they will simply retroactively change the citizenship law to grant BO citizenship from birth. Tada! He will then meet the Constitutional requirement.

Talking about how the clerk screwed up in
his procedure. It’s now be re-submitted
to Justice Thomas.
BO isn’t even the Pres.-elect, until the
electors act.
His suit doesn’t depend on the birth cert. He
thinks he has one.
LD argues that he cannot be a natural born citizen.
BHO admitted to being a British citizen when he
was born.
At the bottom of the fightthesmears.com site, while
he was a British citizen at birth, then became a
Kenyan citizen, which was still under the UK. He
was born as a UK site .. both a UK and American
citizen.
Why is that a problem?
The pert. article has an important grandfather clause
you can be the pres if you’re a natural born citizen
or if you were a citizen at the time of the constitution.
Framers were talking about themselves .. they didn’t
consider themselves natural born cits because they
were UK citizens.
They wanted NOT to confer the Pres. on any UK cit in
the future.
If you were a citizen at the time of the adoption of the const, you were acceptable.
BHO is just like the framers .. NOT a natural born citizen.
I’m not sure that Ed Hale knows his butt from a hole in the ground.
