Vanity: Fox News Says Palin Did Not Know Africa Was Continent, Not Country

Carl Cameron just said McCain campaign shocked to discover Sarah Palin did not realize Africa was a continent, believing instead that it was a country. She did not know the countries in NAFTA. She refused offered preparation for the Couric interview and threw temper tantrums over adverse press.

Wow. Dumping on Sarah in a big way. Shep asked how on Earth the McCain camp could have ended up picking such a dope (not exact words, but sense of what he said).

They did point out she seemed to help the polling numbers.

I knew this was going to be the template, but I was surprised at the level of nastiness on Fox News. Looks like elements of the McCain campaign is determined to make her the scapegoat for the loss. (Couldn't have been anything about the man at the top of the ticket.)

The only reason I voted for McLame was because of Sarah. I made the phone calls, canvased the streets, held signs and took a heep of middle fingers, slurs and crap for it. And I do it again for her.

John, it was YOU that got thrown under the bus. Anyone other RINO or malcontent politico taking shots at Sarah right now (for their own political reasons) needs to get treadmarks as well.

This dumping on Sarah is nothing more than typical post-election sour grapes and scapegoating. WHEN CONSERVATIVES ACT LIKE CONSERVATIVES THEY WIN!!!! If they act like “moderates” they get road killed.

Palin Did Not Know Africa Was Continent, Not Country

Did she know there are 50, not 57, states in the United States of America?

On the day after Election Day, it is always customary for the losing Party to arrange themselves in a Circular Firing Squad.

I find myself wondering if the purpose of the selection was to sabotage Sarah Palin, and if Governor Palin was not supposed to be able to drag the ticket toward victory.

It's always been in the back of my mind that John McCain ended up being our candidate because he was supposed to LOSE this election. I've always felt that way.

When Sarah came on the scene, it re-energized the conservative base of the party & that wasn't supposed to happen. Now, they are afraid she'll be the one in 2012 - and that's not part of their plan. I don't want to sound kooky, but I think it all goes back to the country club globalist elites - to the elites in BOTH parties. Heck, I'll just say it - to the Trilateral Commission.

I'm afraid the Republican party is truly damaged goods now, not even sure they're worth saving.

SHe has to write a book detailing all this. Someone geta hold of her. McCain let her and her family get trashed. And then like always spit in conservatives faces.

“my estimates of the Candidates IQs are this:”

Whatever. What about their judgment or their character? That’s what’s important in a president.

Nahh, I don’t believe Romney supporters have anything to do with it and why believe a rumor?

The media has considered her a THREAT from the begining and still do and looking for ways to crush her in case she runs in 2012.

Its too bad Fox has jumped on the bandwagon in this regard.

We should ALL write to Fox!

Not to mention the fact that he doesn’t want to offend other countries by placing his hand over his heart during the POA or the National Anthem.

I am already envisioning that he will never do this as President, starting with the inauguration. The black athletes all refuse to honor the National Anthem, at the Olympics and sports events. Will also be interesting to see what book is used for Zero-bama's swearing in.

That makes no sense. McCain is finished as presidential material. Cindy McCain is a generous, gracious lady. Stop spreading unfounded rumors.

McCain lost because HE wanted to lose.

Even my 84 year old mother said the same thing today. She said he wouldn't talk about things that would have helped him, and that it seemed at times he wanted to lose.

Hmm, who to believe? Slimeball staffers and operatives of pathetic RINO’s like McCain, Romney? The news media which has constantly spread vicious lies about Palin since the very beginning? Whatta laugh.

I’m unequivocally standing by SARAH!

he choice was way too rushed. She may be capable of becoming a great candidate, but I am not going to dismiss this kind of accusation simply because I don't want it to be true.

so what is the purpose of his aides bringing this out

Anybody that doesn't think he brought enthusiasm to a dead campaign and brought in the $$$ is wrong
