Well at least this way Obama will have little time/chance to make excuses for it.

.....Union bosses remind me of the Borg.....

The Borg are young and ascendent. Union Bosses are old and failing

Thanks for the transcript - I especially enjoyed the authentic stuttering, which he does whenever he's about to say something that might reflect his actual beliefs.

I would say that it's high time that I bought a generator - it's going to be pretty rough in a few years if this bozo gets hold of our national (lack of) energy policy.

First - It is outrageous that this is just now surfacing!

Second - You are right about McCain supporting Cap and Trade. We are Dooomed! Enjoy your "wealth" now, you aren't going to have it long! (psssst, "wealth" means heating and cooling for your home, affordable food, well-maintained roads, the ability to go anywhere anytime you want with affordable fuel..... )

I work in the Coal Industry and we have mines in all of the swing states. I just e-mailed this to all of our senior corporate staff and well as the general managers of the mining complexes.

I’m here to tell you that what I have seen and heard from the miners themselves Obama will not get 10% of the miner votes if that.

Through the National Mining Association they have been running radio ad’s with McCain and Hussien saying both of them support coal. B/S

Oh, another thing. Look for a long list of coal-fired plants on the Mexican side of the border if this idiot gets elected. Mexico, as far as I know, doesn’t have an EPA - they’ll be selling 100,000 Megawatts of power to the US within 8-10 years if Obambi pushes this through. And we’ll need the power.

The Union business has very little to do with the coal business these days. The UMWA is cheerfully awaiting the day when they can walk into WalMart and Arbys with a petition and start collecting dues.

While that's certainly true of the thugs that run the UMWA (and any other union), it's not true of the actual membership in general. They want jobs.

This is just the kind of “detail” the country will find out about after it’s too late. Spread this far and wide!

I have been voting since 1973. I cannot remember being so concerned about what is at stake. Even Carter had me concerned but not spinning abotu how we got to this spot.. May be it is because I have offspring and I worry about what we will be leaving them.

Remember the Alamo.

Remember Pearl Harbor.

Remember Lexington and Concord.

Remember D-Day.

Remember Iwo Jima.

Remember Gettysburg.

and on and on and on.....
