Although legendary rocker Alice Cooper has been often quoted in the media as a supporter of the Republican Party, Cooper set the record straight during a recent interview with Canada's Hour.ca. "I'll be honest, I go from Democrat to Republican," he said. "I vote for the person, not the party. [As for U.S. Vice President hopeful Sarah Palin], I think she's totally a breath of fresh air. When they say she has no experience, maybe that's what Washington needs. I still don't know who I'm going to vote for. But in a shooting war, I want a pit bull, not a poodle. I'm gonna go for the hawk."

Some of Alice Cooper's best songs are beautiful ballads. Frank Sinatra even did a cover of “Only Women Bleed.”

Of course she is! She’s not a whiner, nor a man-hater, nor a screeching harridan a la the skanks on The View; she is her own woman.

He used golf to STOP drinking beer, it became his hobby instead of partying, he’s a good player too.

This one needs repeating!
"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal."
The Hollywood crowd as well, Alice -- if anyone proves they are morons, Matt Damon does.

Alice’s autobiography is entertaining and “easy reading”, but still a fascinating story of a man who had it all (famous friends, parties, women, etc.), but was ultimately miserable even BEFORE the “party ended.” Great anecdotes about Groucho Marx, Jack Benny (who loved Alice’s theatrics), and John Lennon.

good analogy. Ted is the Word smith for sure. When he lived in MI he used to come on a local radio station and debate a PETA person. What a slaughter. LOL

Now that would be an AWESOME concert. Would love to have them do a campaign rally! That would destroy Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel’s pathetic concerts. LOL

I will forgive Alice for appearing in this stinker, where he bears an uncanny resemblance to Steve Carrell and Billy Jack's mutant love child:

YES, that has come to mind numerous times over the last few years. I was watching Rodney Crowell a while back and had to turn it off, now wonder Rosanne Cash dumped him.
